Personnel Transport Services
A total of 8.867personnel benefit from shuttle service provided for easy access of personnel working in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The number of shuttles rendering transport services for such personnel is 507. 298 service lines were determined in order to ensure that personnel arrive at the nearest desired location.
Service Vehicles
GPRS system (Vehicle Tracking System) was created for using vehicles in maximum efficiency. All movements of vehicles can be tracked instantly and kept under control via the system enabling control facility on the internet.
Fuel Services
Fuel requirements for all vehicles (official and rented) rendering services for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality are satisfied. Fuel consumption is monitored via the program prepared for saving fuel. The program ensures necessary supervision through transferring data flow of fuel-supplying

company into the system. Propane gas consumed within the year and used for heating requirements is also supplied within the scope of fuel services.
Cleaning Services (Indoor Cleaning)
Periodic general cleaning and arrangement for service premises are performed on a daily basis. The cleaning works are carried out for the Culture Centres, Libraries and museums rendering service incorporated by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
The cleaning activities conducted cover everywhere cleaning services are required. Daily cleaning service ensures a more hygienic and healthy working environment for employees.
Switchboard Services
The unit which provides all of the service buildings incorporated by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality with internal, external and radio communication renders service with the understanding of uninterrupted communication. The unit which also renders service regarding issues such as repairing phone device malfunctions and line disconnections carries out the services for the main switchboard of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. We have given support to 328,924 calls with our switchboard services as well as 78,615 calls in Social Premises Call Center in 2013.
IMM Main Arterial Road Corruption Determination
IBB determines all road corruptions, wall pollution and negativity in the main arterial roads with photographs and informs Directorate of Road Maintenance and Repair and the necessary units. After the notified negativities are eliminated, photographs are taken again and submitted to Directorate of Social and Administrative Works and Public Relations Directorate.

SMS Services
The personnel are informed of organizations such as opening, events, promotion, etc. within the Municipality via SMS services used as internal communication tool. Announcements regarding the deceased personnel or relatives are also made to the entire personnel thanks to this service. A total of 57,790 messages were sent in order to inform the entire personnel in 2013.

Lodging Services
On the condition that is within the property of Metropolitan Municipality and of compliance with Public Housing and Lodging Regulation as well as other legislation in force, the service of allocating the lodges and flats for land as well as expenditures and maintenance and repair works of these are rendered to the civil servant personnel. There are a total of 484 lodges consisting of 59 buildings in 10 districts Istanbul-wide.
Security Services
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Security Services, Saraçhane Central Service Building A and B Blocks, Merter Central Service Building A and B Blocks, Additional Service Buildings and 30 external directorates and affiliated units render service by taking measures and precautions with the management cadre of 24 persons as well as Private Security Personnel of 1,100 persons employed by means of service procurement in accordance with Law 5188 on Private Security Services which came into force on 26 June 2004 and the working regulation in reference to this law.
Routine supervisions are conducted in order to provide the security services without interruption. 3.557 supervisions were conducted in 2013. 23 negativities were determined during the supervisions and they were resolved without problem.
The centre located in Halkalı on an area of 38.000 m² and consisting of 8 premises including 6 warehouse buildings, 1 vehicle stage building and 1 administrative building certified quality of its services through receiving TS EN ISO 9001:2008 and TS EN ISO 22000 certificates in 2009. It maintains its services without making any concessions on quality through renewing these certificates in 2011. The centre also has a heliport for rapid responses to emergency situations.
Logistics Support Center Services, 2013
The purpose of Logistics Support Centre is to provide logistic support for emergency situations, to satisfy all requirements of our social facilities and meet basic needs of affiliates of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
All expenses for mobile buffet, soup kitchen vehicles, mobile bakery, mobile kitchens, food distribution vehicles etc. belong to the activities performed by Logistic Support Centre.

Repair and Maintenance Services
These services include the principle and procedures that regulate the operation of the institution and organization for meeting the maintenance and repair requirements of the buildings and premises belonging to or used by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality besides the social facilities, central buildings and extensions under the responsibility of the Municipality as well as keeping the current structure utilizable.
Maintenance and repair works are performed with periodical intervals and upon request the cost study is performed on site and maintenance and repair stage is started.

Relations with Sister Cities
Close relations established with sister cities contributes to protection and development of historical connections, mutual introduction of cultures, sharing model urban practices, cooperation on social, technical and economic areas and make people closer with each other. The number of sister cities of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality which was 37 in 2012 increased to 38 in 2013. As of 2013, Istanbul has signed cooperation protocols with 20 cities and Goodwill Protocols with 17 cities.

Negotiations were held with 78 central and 88 local administrations, 10 universities, 25 NGOs, 7 representatives from private sector, 12 ambassadors, 29 consul generals, 6 attaches and 16 representatives from international organizations in 2013. Our Municipality Mayor Kadir TOPBAŞ made 8 visits abroad. 30 overseas visits were made with the participation of municipal assembly members or deputy general secretaries.
Networking activities were conducted in order to attract investors in Istanbul, to create common business opportunities, contributing to foreign expansion of Istanbul’s business world, to establish connection between foreign companies and the companies in Istanbul and ensure their growth with the method of twinning.
While IMM is establishing relations with local administrations; a total of 3.838-page information documents including information documents and presentations for outgoing delegations, information documents for incoming delegations, Istanbul and IMM Presentations, Information Documents for Activities, Information Notes, Model Practice Information Around the World, Reports after Activities were prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities as of 2013. 3,431 pages of translation, 4.075 pages of international correspondence, 1288 hours of interpretation service was rendered as of 2013. 1581 hours of accompanying service for 271 delegations was rendered as of 2013.
