Transfer of the City Lines to IDO in March 2005 became the start of a new era in terms of City Lines. 5 new passenger ferries of which designs were selected by Istanbul citizens with referendum and 3 new Haliç ferries with panoramic view angle were built and put into service. In September 2010, İstanbul Şehir Hatları Turizm ve Tic. San.
Co. was established and City Lines ferries and piers were transferred to the new company. İstanbul Şehir Hatları operates in maritime transportation in Istanbul with effective, productive and customer oriented service policy.
Number of lines reached to 16 with Küçüksu-İstinye Line in 2013.

In accordance with Municipality Council no. 349 dated 18/02/2005 as per article 26 of Metropolitan Municipality Law No. 5216, ISPARK Co. Inc. was commissioned with the operation of the car parks located on real estate’s under the

sovereignty and disposition of the municipality upon approval of Municipality Approval no. 7613 dated 26/10/2005.
Currently, ISPARK Co. Inc. operates parking areas with a total capacity of 68,638 vehicles on 532 locations in 29 of Istanbul’s 39 districts.

Hand Terminal System
Hand Terminal Project, which is one of the most important stages of transition to automation in car park management, came into practice with 1,320 devices and additional equipment. It was initiated at first on 5 spots on Valikonağı Street in Nişantaşı Quarter, Şişli district on 13/10/2008.
As of 31 December 2013, 1,175 devices are used on 377 spots in 29 districts.
A total of 79,595,040 operations were conducted with hand terminal between the dates of 13 October 2008-31 December 2013.
High-Tech Parking Systems
Lift system is a mechanical system that allows stacking 2 or more vehicles on the top of each other within the area of 1 parking spot under normal conditions through the installation of lift system. Taken into effect particularly in central locations where intense traffic is experienced, the system multiplies parking capacity in limited areas.
Automatic, semi-automatic, mechanic lift and wheel systems with a total capacity of 900 vehicles render service in the locations given below.

Smart Bike Parks
We commissioned the project with 100 bikes on 10 spots between Kadıköy-Kartal on Asian Side.
“Park & Ride” projects were initiated on 38 locations with a total capacity of 9,338. Using Subway, metrobus, IDO, urban lines and tramway is encouraged through the project.

Cabstands and Smart Taxi Management
Land surveys regarding identification of new spots around transfer centers and terminal stations of public transportation in approximately 28 districts appropriate for cabstand management are ongoing and the applications for spots deemed suitable are submitted to UKOME council. As of the end of 2012, cabstands with a total capacity of 357 vehicles in 46 spots are under control of ISPARK.
