Çok ilginçtir: Bütün gramer kitapları "The Subjunctive Mood" konusuna çok önemli bir konu olarak değinir, ama kuş mudur deve midir, kimseler de çıkıp söylemez... Bunun bir nedeni, bu yapıların yakın ve son dönemlerde hızlı bir dönüşüm geçiriyor olmalarıdır. Nitekim, az yukarda da değindiğim gibi,günümüzde özellikle senli-benli konuşma dilinde "were" yerine "was" kullanımı pek yadırganmıyor diyebilirim. Ama siz özellikle sınavlarda "koşul" ve "dilek" kiplerinin bütün ayrıntılarına dikkat ediniz, derim...
1. Burada üzerine eğilmediğim, çok önemli bir subjunctive yapı grubunu, Kitabımızın "Ad-Tümcelikler" Bölümünde ayrıntılarıyla ele almıştık (Bknz. Bölüm 5; "Emir Tümcelerinden"...)
