Amacı / Purpose Farklı bitki gruplarında en ilkelden gelişmişe kadar çeşitli örneklerin toplama, koruma ve saklama yöntemlerinin öğretilmesi, bitkisel materyallerin uzun yıllar saklanması ile herbaryum ve herbaryum merkezlerinin işlevi ve öneminin anlatılması, arazi çalışmalarında dikkat edilecek hususlar, bitki örneklerinin tayini ve herbaryumlarının yapılması ve rapor hazırlama gibi çalışmalar yapılarak dersin uygulamaya yönelik biçimde işlenmesini sağlamaktır.

The aim of the course is to teaching methods of collecting, preserving and storing various examples of different plant groups from the most primitive to the most advanced, to explaining the function and importance of herbariums and herbarium centres in storing plant material over a long period, to practical work is provided in applying the lessons to such things as conducting field work, collecting specimens, setting up a herbarium and preparing a report.

İçeriği / Content Derste herbaryum ve diğer saklama yöntemleri anlatılarak, ulusal- uluslar arası herbaryumlar ve amaçları hakkında bilgiler verilmektedir. Çeşitli bitki türlerine göre geliştirilmiş teknikler anlatılarak bunların gerek laboratuarda gerekse arazi çalışmalarında uygulaması yapılmaktadır.

Information is given in lessons on national and international herbariums and their objectives by describing herbariums and other methods of storage. Advanced techniques for various different plant species are described and practical work is carried out in the laboratory and in the field.
