Amacı / Purpose Deri Mühendisliği stajının amacı, öğrenciyi deri mamullerinin üretiminde kullanılan ham derinin; hammadde aşamasından başlayarak mamul madde aşamasına kadar geçtiği tüm işlem ve işlentilerde görev almaya hazırlamaktır. Bunun yanı sıra mamul hale gelmiş derinin konfeksiyon aşaması, kalite kontrol ve pazarlama aşamalarında da staj yaparak pratik tecrübe kazanma imkanları da bulunmaktadır.

Eğitiminde almış olduğu teorik bilgileri işletme bazında uygulayabilme, beşeri ilişkilerde gelişme sağlama gibi özellikleri kazandırmaktır.

Kurum kültürü, stajyere uygulanacak staj programı, stajyerin işletmedeki görev ve sorumlulukları, sağlanan olanaklar ve bilgisayar, kütüphane, vb. altyapı, teknik emniyet ve iş güvenliği, vb. konularda bilgilenme.

İşletmenin yerleşimi, yan üniteleri ve akım şeması öğrenme, staj raporuna aktarma. Fabrikanın işleyişi ile birlikte, üretimin ülkemiz ve dünya açısından önemi, iş ve meslek
