TKA’lı bireylerin fonksiyonel durum ve ağrılarının değerlendirildiği çalışmamızın sonuçlarında fonksiyonel durumları yapay eklem farkındalığı

gelişiminde yüksek derecede etkili olmaktadır. Bu durum fonksiyonel durumlarında iyileşmenin sağlayan rehabilitasyon programına alınması bireylerde yapay eklem farkındalığının gelişimini önlemede etkili olabileceğini göstermiştir.

Sonuç olarak TKA’lı bireylerin yapay eklemi unutabilme becerisinin kinezyofobi ve fonksiyonel performansla ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Aynı zamanda bu çalışma protezli taraf kalça çevresi ve diz ekstansör kas kuvveti, kalça normal eklem hareket açıklığının düşük olması bu bireylerin uzun dönemde de fizyoterapi programlarına ihtiyaç duyduğu ve fizyoterapistler tarafından düzenli kontrollerle takip edilmesinin önemini vurgulamaktadır. Bu sonuçlara göre çalışmamız; TKA’lı bireylerin kalça normal eklem hareket kısıtlılıklarını azaltmayı, kalça çevresi kas kuvvetini artırmayı ve bireylerin yapay eklem farkındalığını, hareket etme korkusunu azaltan ve fonksiyonel performansını artıran fizyoterapi programlarına alınması gerektiğini göstermiştir.
