Abstract: The cognitive skills of thinking, perception and analysis, synthesis, and reasoning are intelligence quotient (IQ). Emotional quotient (EQ) is the ability to understand the feelings and needs of oneself and others, to display self-control and self-confidence and the skills to respond to others’ feelings and in appropriate ways. According to Danah Zohar, “when starts talking about noble causes ,one is in the realm of Spiritual Intelligence.”IQ is a measure our ability to solve logical problems, EQ refers to our ability to gauge the emotional dynamics of a situation, SQ is our depth for perception and intuition.

Spiritual practices transcends all the differences and helps in achieving the consciousness. SQ= Deeds /EGO . where SQ = D/E. Where D = Deeds and E =

Ego. Now you can ONLY have an SQ = infinity when E = 0. If E is little

even then SQ is approaching infinity( By Deepak Chopra: MEASUREMENT OF SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT AND

EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT) If a person can control his reactions and starts responding consciously to the situations , actions will have a lesser perceptions of self interest and it will happen with a more broader sense . Actions will be based on

sustainable thoughts .It will have long lasting and peaceful effects on human life.

Introduction : Change is the intrinsic part of human life . Accepting , Adopting and Acclimatizing with the change is the

wise approach . Covid 19 is the the boon for the human to improve their challenging capacity . This may be a contradictory and bold statement considering the current pandemic spread of contagious corona virus. But the perspective in this current research paper is completely different .Covid 19 virus will create great shift of stationary economic equilibrium of traditional mind set to new equilibrium of struggling , fighting mind set . This situation is correcting the equilibrium and setting new path for humanism . Shifting from traditional mind set to technology driven , fast , challenging mind set is a classic paradigm shift in the history of humanity. Finding the opportunities from the disrupted economic situation and creating new avenues of success ,is key for surviving in the current situation.

Back- Ground of Study:

Meaning of Sustainability: The term “sustainability” has been broadly applied to characterize improvements in areas like natural resources overexploitation, manufacturing operations (its energy use and polluting sub products), the linear consumption of products, the direction of investments, citizen lifestyle, consumer purchasing behaviours, technological developments or business and general institutional changes. All these actions should not create imbalance in the ecological, environmental and spiritual systems .

PILLARS OF SUSTAINABIL ITY ➢ Ecological Sustainability .

At the ecological level, supportability keeps nature from being utilized as a limitless wellspring of assets and guarantees its assurance and sound use. Perspectives, for example, natural preservation, interest in sustainable power sources, sparing water, supporting feasible portability, and development in reasonable development and design, add to accomplishing this ecological manageability on a few fronts.

➢ Social Sustainability .

At the social level, supportability can encourage the improvement of individuals, networks and societies to help accomplish sensible and genuinely dispersed personal satisfaction, medical services and training over the globe. The battle for gender equality , particularly in creating nations, is another viewpoint which in coming years will frame the premise of social maintainability.

➢ Monetary Sustainability.

Manageability focusses on equivalent monetary development that produces riches for all, without hurting the climate. Speculation and an equivalent appropriation of the monetary assets will fortify different mainstays of maintainability for a total turn of events.

➢ Spiritual Sustainability : :

It was believed in the earlier part of the twentieth century that a person high on rational intelligence (IQ) will succeed in his life. Later, in mid 1990s, a theory was propounded that a person high on emotional intelligence (EQ), IQ being the same, has greater chances of faring well in life, for he is endowed with the capacity to manage his own and others’ emotions better. Towards the end of the century, it was highlighted that spiritual intelligence (SI), also SQ for short, is the ultimate intelligence, necessary for effective functioning of IQ and EQ. SQ allows human beings to be creative, to change the rules and to alter situations, giving us the ability to discriminate.

Any Human Being is imbibed with these three quotients from their birth.

All these three quotients are interlinked means a person with high IQ (Intelligent Quotient .)will not be successful in the life and a person with a strong EQ(Emotional Quotient)will also be not successful in his life .

According to the researcher the problem part lies with our education system which has shaped how we think. It works on the assumption that we live in a predictable world and we are taught how to think in a situation where we know what the future holds, but the reality of course is far from the theory. We haven’t learned to face with the unknown things. Thus we may find in reality that people who are emotionally weak or with a less emotional quotient may not cope up with the sudden , unknown , unpredictable situations in life .

Definition:

Intelligent Quotient:

It is a quotient of your intelligence which is used by keeping your morality sane.IQ is commonly divided in to two factors :fluid and crystalize intelligence . Fluid intelligence refers to the capacity to solve and think logically about novel problems and crystalized intelligence depends on experience and knowledge . Brewer, Mark, Dr (2008) endorses that people who successfully tackle the big issues of life are not always the ones blessed with great mental aptitude. These achievers possess something that is superior to sheer impact .

Best Examples can be taken as Doctors , Scientist , Engineers whose IQ may be very high who does their duty with intelligence , knowledge , logical and rezoning ability only.

Emotional Quotient :Emotional intelligence can be termed to be as the ability to recognize and regulate the emotions in

ourselves and other s(Goldman 2001).Research have been conducted to know whether emotional intelligence plays a prominent role in over coming stress related outcomes and it has been established that individuals who scored high in emotional quotient experienced better health , well being and suffered less stress and displays better work performance . It is a quotient of your degree of emotions like dedication , commitment , integrity , team work ,leadership abilities etc .

Best Example can be taken as Mother, Father etc.

Spiritual Quotient: It is beyond IQ and EQ and five senses . It is connecting to your own soul and filling your heart with

love . compassion , empathy. SQ is the central and most fundamental of all the intelligences, because it becomes the source of guidance for other and being an integrating intelligence, links our rational and emotional intelligences. A man with high SQ not only responds appropriately in a particular situation or circumstance, but also analyses as to why is in that situation and how can better that situation. High SQ enables a person to operate beyond the boundaries. Zohar, Danah (2000) believes that “SQ gives us the ability to discriminate. It gives us our moral sense, an ability to temper rigid rules with understanding and compassion and an equal ability to see when compassion and understanding have their limits”. Brewer, Mark, Dr. (2008) states that “the spiritual intelligence is available to everyone- yet only a handful of people are taking the advantage of this . Best Example : Mother Teresa , All Saints & Rishis.

Research Methodology: Objectives of Study:

1. To create the awareness about the importance of spiritual quotient .

2. To study the interpretation of the words intelligent quotient , emotional quotient and spiritual quotient . 3. To Study the Sustainability Goals .

Type of study: This study is purely of descriptive in nature.

Data Collection: This study is entirely based on secondary data and extensive survey of literature available on spiritual

theories , mediation video , through articles and sustainability goals .

Interpretation :

As per the research done by the scientist Daniel Goldman 67 % EQ and 33% IQ is the perfect combination and for balancing these both spiritual quotient is important .Then it gives perfect balanced state of mind. Considering the classic example like Nelson Mandela, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar , Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam have found with perfect balance of these IQ and EQ with great amount of spiritual quotient.

The important aspect is proportion of EQ is more than compared to IQ . It is because if we consider a intelligent doctor who is attached to his work is more successful than a intelligent Doctor attached to the patients. Needless to say that Doctor who is attached to his work is more successful than other. Emotional intelligence includes involvement in work, dedication, commitment , integrity , team work ,leadership abilities etc .Jeff Bezos founder and CEO of AMAZON states that their company used to hire the employees whose EQ is more strong than IQ . as these people has high commitment and dedication index than high IQ people. More EQ prone employees are more innovative, creative and surgent in nature. Qualities with intelligence will be a great help for the society.

Spiritual Quotient: It is the the degree of happiness without any reason. Happiness means what ?

Happiness = Desires Fulfilled / Total No of Desires . Our desires are nothing but the expectations from our life if we keep our expectations zero that means acceptance level is 100%. Then in mathematical way anything divided by zero is in infinity

means your happiness in infinite if you keep your desires zero and acceptance level of mind is 100%..Any turbulence in your life you can face if you accept it , it will give you more courage . Happiness declines once anger, ego , threat, ,fear starts entering in the mind and it looses the balance of mind . Spiritual quotient helps in balancing these emotions and keep our heart filled with love , empathy and compassion. This helps in excelling not only in our personal life but our professional life .Spiritual quotient helps to think about globally not locally . It give purpose to the life and makes our life meaningful . Spiritual practices transcends all the differences and helps in achieving the consciousness. Further this formula is more filtered and derived as SQ= Deeds /EGO . If a person can control his reactions and starts responding consciously to the situations , actions will have a lesser perceptions of self interest and it will happen I more broader sense . Actions will be based on sustainable thoughts .It will have long lasting and peaceful effects on human life .

Findings :

Current pandemic COVID 19 is an opportunity for all mankind to learn from this sudden global problem. Human and nature are closely connected , as human being is gifted by GOD with the intelligence , it is proved wrong. Nature does its role , human beings are the guilty for this sudden emergency , human beings exploited the resources in inhuman way and consequences are to be faced by them only. For eliminating such unwanted guest from the nature human needs to be spiritually , emotionally and intellectually balanced one.

The success of India’s economic progress is closely linked to its capabilities to sustain and fight for peace of mind in a highly competitive global market. In fact the changing business scenario in India is influenced by 3 driving forces of human psychology 1)) Intelligent Quotient . 2) Emotional Quotient .3) Spiritual Quotient The objective of the economic reforms that were initiated in India was to move the economy in to the higher growth by relying more on social and spiritual oriented process. The process of socio-economic change is an instinct part of human civilization. Man has been striving ceaselessly to discover the secrets of nature and there by benefit immensely in creating a peaceful, rich life for himself and his fellow beings. Economic development if conceived without appropriate spiritual and social changes soon becomes stultified and stagnated.

Sustainability can be achieved when following mind set with high spiritual quotient is gained . High spiritual quotient provides balanced approach towards every situation and sphere of life .It not only reacts but responds towards situations and holistic approach can be developed .It ensures sustainable attitude in every sector including Education , Finance and Banking . Environment and Human being Psychology .

➢ Spiritual Growth Shares knowledge and best practices and build capacity to implement measures promoting accessibility and inclusion of all human being irrespective of colour , caste and creed .

➢ Balanced Approach ensures actions to ensure the social, cultural, economic, civil and political inclusions of persons with mental impairments or psychosocial disabilities: It reviews national policies and legislation to eliminate or amend those that discriminate and deny the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities from participating in social, economic and political spheres. It raises awareness on disability among communities and decision makers and create the enabling environment where persons with disabilities are included without discrimination and can participate equally in their communities

➢ Spiritual quotient leads to sustainable development by adopting a learner-centred pedagogy which acknowledges that everyone has unique needs that can be accommodated through a continuum of teaching approaches. It engages civil society and local communities in inclusive education. It Establishes monitoring mechanisms to evaluate the implementation of policies and laws on inclusive education and Improves national collection and disaggregation of education indicators by disability .It Explores online and smartphone crowdsourcing applications to obtain bottom-up information on the accessibility of education .

➢ Spiritual quotient ensures responsive, inclusive, participatory and representative decision-making at all levels. ➢ Spiritual quotient broadens and strengthen the participation of developing countries in the institutions of global

governance.

Conclusion:

Human life is the greatest gift that the God or that Infinite Energy bestows upon us. It is our duty to preserve and nourish it with spiritual intelligence so that it will create sustainable effects on future generations . We ought to respect and love our mother earth , nature , environment , human species with all genders consciously being spiritual beings and with our (SQ), should live the highest quality of life .
