towards Incident-reporting and Their Organizational

Culture

中文摘要 醫院要建立一個成功的異常事件通報制度,最重要的前提便是建構一個重視病人安全的醫療環 境,而組織文化是醫療院所朝向病人安全的關鍵因素。本研究目的在探討組織文化對於護理人員 異常事件通報態度的相關性。 研究設計採橫斷性研究,使用結構式問卷,針對新竹縣市1 所區域及 3 所地區醫院護理人員進 行問卷調查,回收有效問卷共計283 份,回收率達 94.3%。本研究的應變項為護理人員對異常 事件的通報態度,自變項為組織文化,而在控制變項則為護理人員的屬性。 研究結果顯示,不同的組織文化會影響護理人員的通報態度。層級型文化會增進護理人員異常事 件通報態度,而共識型文化在阻礙上有顯著影響。另一方面,護理人員特質對於異常事件的通報 態度亦有顯著性的影響力,有上過病人安全在職教育會增進異常事件通報態度,阻礙通報態度會 因職務不同有所差異,基層護理人員有較強的阻礙意願。 實證結果顯示護理人員屬性、組織文化等變項,對異常事件通報態度有顯著性的影響力。本研究 的研究結果應可提供醫院管理階層,作為異常事件通報制度策略擬定之參考。 關鍵詞:異常事件通報、組織文化 英文摘要

The hospital must be to establish a successful Incident reporting system, the most important premise is constructs one to take the patient safety the medical environment, focused to patient safety was raised that the key ingredient of successful patient safety was organizational culture. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between organization culture and nurses Incident reporting attitude.

This cross-sectional study investigated 4 hospitals in Hsin Chu (including 1 region and 3 local hospitals) by structured questionnaires. A total of 283 questionnaires were returned, and the respone rate was 94.3%. For the study, the dependent variable was nurses attitude towards Incident-reporting, the independent variable was

The results of the study indicated that the different organizational culture will

influenced nurses Incident-reporting attitude. hierarchical culture will to promote the nurses Incident -reporting attitude, the Consensual culture has the significant

influence in the barriers. On the other hand, the nurses characteristic, also has the significant influence regarding the Incident-reporting attitude. Is promote the

Incident-reporting attitude, has the patient safety education. But in the barriers to have a difference because of the nurses duty, that the basic unit nurses will have the strong barriers wish.

In conculsion, Incident-reporting attitude was influenced by characteristics of nurses, organizational culture. With this understanding, results of the study provide

suggestions for administrators of the hospital in planning strategy for Incident-reporting system .
