THE REASON FOR USING THERMAL INSULATION IN ALUMINIUM CUTTING SYSTEMS

Aluminum is one of the most commonly used materials in frame windows. But as it is known that aluminum is a material which has a very high thermal conductivity.

Thermal insulation in aluminum cutting systems is provided by binding an internal and an external aluminum profiles with a non-conductive thermal barrier to suppress the negative effects of the high thermal conductivity of aluminum material. This non- conductive thermal barrier can be used as PVC or Polyamide.

ADVANTAGES OF THERMAL INSULATION Thermal insulation should be used for:

Thermomid is specialized in producing most qualified polyamide PA 66 GF %25 reinforced insulating strips.

Our company is producing POLYAMID under the brand name of THERMOMID. THERMOMID is a local production product.

THERMOMID is a thermal insulating material which has a very low coefficient and on the other hand has high strength and hardness and can be produced with low tolerances.

THE REASON FOR USING THERMOMID

ECONOMIC AND EFFICIENT – based on PVC provides up to 50%

good thermal insulation

Key to the effectiveness of Thermomid is Thermonul 66 GF %25 which is a special composition of glass-reinforced nylon 66 GF %25.

BETTER INSULATION

Thermoplast system provides superior insulation through increased aluminum separation and air space. The material is extruded into a shape that effectively and economically joins two separate aluminum extrusions (the inner and outer aluminum profiles of the window, door or curtain wall).

Thermomid seals out moisture under high temperature.

INCREASED STRENGTH

Since Thermomid's coefficient of thermal expansion is very close to that of aluminum, internal stresses are drastically reduced.

The bond between Thermomid and the aluminum extrusion retains its mechanical integrity through a wide range of temperature fluctuations.

The strength of the composite profile is increased due to Thermomid's composition and system geometry.

ALLOWS THINNER ALUMINUM WALLS

Thermomid is a system with inherent strength, permitting the use of thinner aluminum walls even with similar hollow section construction.

Manufacturers save on material costs and can offer reduced weight in finished assemblies.

A2 is consist of, two sided, plastic and mineral-filled core aluminum plate. One side of this aluminum composite plate is colored.

Characteristics of A2 are as follows;

• According to the German norm DIN4102, flame retardant A2 class which is formed by special mineral-filled core material, has fire resistance certificate.

• It has an extremely excellent surface which is lightweight, flexible and rigid.

• Provide low-cost advantage in infrastructure work.

• As a structural element, it provides unlimited freedom to architects and practitioners in interior and exterior applications.

Thermoedge sıcak kenar cam çıtaları UV dirençli plastik polimer bazlı karışım ile üretilmektedir.

Ürünler folyo ile kaplanmış plastik malzemeden haddelenmektedir. Ürünler 8-24 mm genişlik aralığında üretilmektedir. Standart üretimde siyah olarak üretilen plastik tarafının istek üzerine farklı renk seçenekleri ile üretilebilmesi mümkündür.

Plastik bölüm üzerine baskı gerçekleştirilebilmek- tedir. Ürünler düşük Σλd- ve Ψ-değerlerine sahip- tir.Plastik çıta üzerinde bulunan perforasyon delikleri daha iyi yalıtımlı cam performansı sağlam- aktadır. Sıcak kenar cam çıtasının arka yüzeyindeki metal ve ametal kaplamalar çıtaların buhar ve argon bariyeri olarak işlev görmesini sağlamaktadır. Yüzeylerde yapışma kuvvetleri yüksek sızdırmazlık macunları kullanılmak- tadır.Ürünler UV ışınlarına karşı, yüzeylerin çizilm- esine karşı dayaklıdır ve düşük termal uzama katsayısına sahiptir. Sıcak kenar cam çıtaları düşük psi değerine sahip oldupu için komple konstrüksiyonun U değeri azaltılarak enerji

tasarrufu sağlanmaktadır.

Thermoedge warm edge glazing beads are produced with a YV resistant plastic polymer-based mixture.The products are rolled with plastic material covered with foil.The products are produced in a width of 8-24 mm.The plastic side, which is produced in black in standard production, can be produced with different color options upon request. Printing can be done on the plastic part. The products have low Σλd- and Ψ-values.Perforation holes on the plastic lath provide better insulated glass performance. Metal and nonmetal coatings on the back of the warm edge glazing bead enable the laths to function as a vapor and argon barrier. Sealing pastes with high adhesion strength are used on the surfaces.

The products are resistant to UV rays, scratching surfaces and have a low thermal elongation coeffi- cient. Since the warm edge glazing beads have a low psi value, the U value of the complete construction is reduced, thereby saving energy.
