Çanakkale Seramik Fabrikalar› A.fi., established in 1957, as the first ceramic wall tiles and porcelain insulators producer of Turkey and Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi A.fi., established in 1972, as the first ceramic floor tiles producer of Turkey, merged in 2000, taking the name of KALESERAM‹K Çanakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi A.fi.
Presently, KALESERAM‹K, is the world's largest integrated plant, located in one area and having a yearly production capacity of more than 60 million square metre ceramic tiles and approximately 11.000 tons porcelain insulators.

KALESERAM‹K has a wide range of insulators, produced in accordance with DIN 40685, such as; pin type insulators, line post insulators, string insulators, long-rod insulators, railway insulators, indoor/outdoor post insulators, transformer bushing insulators, wall
bushings, lightning arresters bushings, fuse tubes etc. The insulator production capacity is over 10.000 Tons/Year. Fast and continuous development has been materialized in the production over the years to satisfy the varying needs of customers with a large range of products and to meet the ever-changing requirements for insulator applications. Strict quality control is enforced in every stage of the production, so that the customers are furnished with high quality insulators at competitive prices.

Alçak gerilim da¤›t›m enerji nakil hatlar›nda, iletkenin dire¤e tesbitinde bu izolatörler kullan›l›r.
Bu grupta yeralan alçak gerilim izolatörleri, TSE, DIN ve ANSI standartlar›na uygun olarak üretilir.
Bu izolatörler, genel olarak afla¤›da belirtilen üç alt gruba ayr›l›r:
- DIN normuna uygun pin tipi izolatörler
- DIN ve ANSI normlar›na uygun makara izolatörler - ANSI normuna uygun gergi izolatörleri
Bu izolatörler KER 110.1 sert porselenden üretilir.
Katalogda yer almayan farkl› tiplerdeki alçak gerilim izolatörleri de müflteri iste¤ine uygun olarak imal edilebilir.
These insulators are used for low voltage overhead distribution lines to fix the conductors to the post bodies.
This group of insulators includes of low voltage insulators standardized in accordance with TSE, DIN and ANSI specifications. These insulators are devided into mainly three in accordance with types:
- PIN type insulators DIN norms.
- Shackle and spoll insulators in accordance with DIN and ANSI norms.
- Strain insulators in accordance with ANSI norms.
These insulators are made of hard porcelain KER 110-1
Other types of insulators which are not covered by this cataloque, can also be produced upon customer’s request.

Pin Type Insulators
These insulators are used for medium voltage overhead distribution lines to fix the conductors to the post.
These insulators are indicated as PUNCTUREABLE (B type) insulators in IEC-383 standard and called PIN TYPE INSULATORS.
Our production programme in this insulator group comprises the following products;
- Pin type insulators in accordance with TSE and DIN norms up to 24 kV max. service voltage level.
- Pin type insulators in accordance with TSE and DIN
norms up to 36 kV max. service voltage for normal and polluted areas.
These insulators are made of porcelain KER 110-1, according to DIN 40685.
Other types of insulators not covered by this catalogue, can also be prooduced upon customer’s request.
Bu tip izolatörler, orta gerilim da¤›t›m enerji nakil hatlar›nda iletkenin dire¤e tesbitinde kullan›l›r. Bu grup izolatörler IEC-383 de belirtilen B grubu yani delinebilir nitelikte P‹N T‹P‹ MESNET ‹ZOLATÖRLER‹’dir.
Üretim program›m›zdaki izolatörler, afla¤›da gösterilen gruplara ayr›l›r.
- En yüksek servis gerilimi 24 kV’a kadar olan ve TSE, DIN normlar›na uygun P‹N tipi izolatörler.
- En yüksek servis gerilimi 36 kV olan normal ve kirli bölgelerde kullan›lan TSE ve DIN normlar›na uygun P‹N tipi izolatörler.
Bu izolatörler, DIN 40685’e göre KER 110-1 porselen hammadden üretilmektedir.
Bu katalogda yeralmayan di¤er pin tipi izolatörler, müflteri iste¤ine uygun olarak imal edilebilir.

Line Post Insulators
These insulators are used for medium voltage overhead distribution lines to fix the conductors to the post.
These insulators are indicated as
NON -PUNCTUREABLE (A type) insulators in IEC-383 standard and called LINE POST INSULATORS.
Insulators covered by this catalogue with max. service voltage of 36 kV and suitable for normal and polluted areas are included in our production programme.
Insulators which are not covered by this catalogue with different service voltage levels and with higher creepage distances can also be produced upon customer’s request.
These insulators are made of porcelain KER 110.1 or KER 110.2, according to DIN 40685.

Bu izolatörler IEC-383 de belirtilen A grubu yani delinmez nitelikte HAVA HATTI MESNET ‹ZOLATÖRLER‹’dir.
Bu katalogda yer alan normal ve kirli bölgelerde kullan›lan, en yüksek servis gerilimi 36 kV olan tüm izolatörler üretim program›m›zdad›r.
Bu katalogda yer almayan di¤er gerilim seviyelerinde ve daha yüksek kaçak mesafeli izolatörler de müflteri iste¤ine uygun olarak imal edilebilir.
Bu tip izolatörlerde kullan›lan porselen hammadde, DIN 40685 standard›na göre KER 110-1 veya KER 110.2’ ye uygundur.

String Insulators (Cap and pin type)
Bu tip izolatörler, orta ve yüksek gerilim enerji iletim ve da¤›t›m hatlar›nda iletkenin dire¤e as›larak veya gerilerek tesbit edilmesinde kullan›l›r. Üretim program›ndaki izolatörler afla¤›da gösterilen gruplara ayr›l›r:
- Top ve yuva mafsall› NORMAL tip zincir izolatörler
- Top ve yuva mafsall› K‹RL‹ bölgelerde (sis tipi) kullan›lan zincir izolatörler.
Üretimimizdeki bütün izolatör porselen gövdeleri rutin testlerden geçirilir.
(s›cakl›k darbe, hidrolik iç bas›nç, mekanik kontrol ve elektriki atlama testleri). Afla¤›daki test ve kontroller yap›l›r:
IEC-383 tip ve numune testleri IEC-797 kal›c› mukavemet testi IEC-575 ›s›l mekanik dayan›kl›l›k testi IEC-120 top ve yuva ölçüleri mastar kontrolu IEC-372 top ve yuva kilitleme ölçüleri kontrolu ANS‹-C29.2 çekiç testi
Zincir izolatörlerin tip ve kullan›m miktarlar›, servis voltaj› ve ortam kirlili¤ine göre, 4/1-a,b,c ve d sayfalar›ndaki tablolar dikkate al›narak belirlenmelidir.
Bu izolatörlerde, DIN 40685 standard›na göre KER 110.1 veya KER 110.2 porselen hammadde kullan›lmaktad›r.
These insulators are used for medium and high voltage overhead transmision and distribution lines for suspension or tension of conductor to the posts.
Our production programme in this insulator group comprises the following products;
- Ball and socket coupling NORMAL type chain insulators.
- Ball and socket coupling ANTI POLLUTION (FOG) type chain insulators.
The porcelain bodies of all these insulators are subject to thermal shock, hydraulic internal pressure, tension proof and electrical flashover tests.
The following tests are also performed : IEC-383 type and sample tests
IEC-797 residual strength tests
IEC-575 thermal mechanical performans tests IEC-120 dimensions control of ball and socket coupling
IEC-372 locking device control for ball and socket coupling
ANSI-C29.1 impact tests.
The types and quantities of the insulators for different service voltage and pollution levels to be fixed according to Tables 4/1-a,b,c,d
These insulators are made of porcelain KER 110.1 or KER 110.2 according to DIN 40685.
