Tören- de Fakülte birincisi Fatma GÜLSUYU, Eğitim Fakültesi Dekanı ve Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Ahmet PINARBAŞI, Üniversitemiz Rek- törü Prof. Dr. Mustafa Talha GÖNÜLLÜ birer konuşma yaptı. Daha sonra bölümlerin birinci, ikinci ve üçüncülerine hediyeler takdim edildi. Eğitim Fakültesi Birincisi Fatma GÜLSUYU ve Üniversitemiz Rektörü Prof. Dr. Mustafa Talha GÖNÜLLÜ birlikte mezuniyet kütüğüne plaket çaktı. The ceremony organized at Youth Square of our University began with one minute’s silence and the National Anthem after the parade of the students. In the ceremony, Fatma GÜLSUYU, the student ranking as the first of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ahmet PINARBAŞI, the Dean of the Faculty of Education and the Vice Rector of our University, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Talha GÖNÜLLÜ, the Rector of our University each made a speech. After that, presents were given to the students who ranked as the first, second and third of their department. Fatma GÜLSU- YU, the student ranking as the first of the Fa- culty of Education and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Talha GÖNÜLLÜ, the Rector of our University nailed a plaquet to the graduation register block. The ceremony ended with teacher candidates who graduated from the 13 departments of the Fa- culty of Education receiving their diplomas and throwing their graduation caps.

Sizleri hep sevdik, seviyoruz, bundan sonra da ülkenize en iyi katkıları yapacağınıza inanarak size olan sevgimi- zi tekrarlıyoruz. Ülkemize bağlılığımız en büyük ve en birinci görevimizdir. Önce ülkemize bağlı olacağız. Ailemize bağlı olacağız. Çevremizle dost olacağız. Dost olmayı öğrenin gençler. Ortak mut- luluğumuz için mutlaka çalışmamız lazım. Ülkenin ortak mutluluğu, ancak fedakârlıkla, çalışmakla, sevgiyi yansıttığımız çalışmalarla olur.
“GENÇ YAŞTA EVLENMEK LAZIM”
Rektörünüz olarak bir tavsiye de daha bulunmak is- tiyorum. Genel olarak gençliğimiz günümüzde geç evleniyorlar. Bu, ülkemizin geleceği açısından çok umutlu olmamızı sağlamıyor. Genç yaşta evlenmek lazım. Doğru insanlarla hayatınızı birleştirmeyi geciktirmeyin. Aileleriniz de burada, onlara da sesleniyorum. Gençlerimizin evliliklerini geciktir- meyelim. Her şey zamanında lazımdır. Gelecek ve rızık kaygısıyla bu işi geciktirmeyin.
Sizlere inanıyor ve seviyoruz. İnancınızın her za- man yüksek olmasını istiyoruz. Kendinize inanın, güvenin, özgüveninizi hiçbir zaman kaybetmeyin. Dirençli olun, güçlü, çalışkan olun. İnşallah başara- cağınıza inanıyorum. Ülkemiz adına en iyi şeyleri yapacağınıza inanıyorum. Hepinize bundan sonra- ki hayatınızda başarılar diliyorum.”

You have studied at such a University. With our faculty members, our human resources, our sub structure and all body and soul, we did the best we could so that you could be raised in the best way. And you have compensated for this. We are happy for you. We have always loved you and we still do, and we repeat our love to you by believing that you will make the best contributions to your country from now on. Our commitment to our country is our biggest and most prioritized duty. First of all, we shall be devoted to our country. We shall be de- voted to our family. We shall be friends with our en- vironment. Learn to be friendly, young people. We definitely need to work for our common happiness. The common happiness of the country can only be through sacrifice, working and works in which we reflect love.
“YOU NEED TO MARRY AT A YOUNG AGE” As your Rector, I would like to give you one more piece of advice. In general, our young people get married late at the present day. This does not cause us to be very hopeful in terms of the future of our country. One should get married at a young age. Do not delay uniting your lives with the right persons. Your families are here, too, I am addressing them, as well. Let us not delay the marriages of our young people. Everything should be in its due time. Do not delay this with the concern of the future and suste- nance.
We believe you and we love you. We want that your belief will always be high. Believe in yourselves, trust in yourselves and never lose your self-con- fidence. Be resistant, strong and hard-working. I believe that hopefully, you will succeed. I believe that you will do the best in the name of our country. I wish all of you success in your life from now on.”

Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Ahmet PINARBAŞI törende öğrencilere seslenerek şöyle konuştu: “Bir öğretmenin yeterli donanıma sahip olması için, hedeflerinin ve kendi potansiyelinin farkına varmış olması gerekir. Siz genç öğretmenlerin kaygıları, sadece görev yapacağınız okulun veya sınıfın fiziki uygunluğu değil, öğrencilerinizi kendi potansiyellerini ortaya çıkaran, dünyayı anlama kabiliyeti olan bireyler olarak yetiştirmek olmalıdır. Bugün geldiğimiz noktada, ülkemizin 2023 vizyonu ve hedefleri doğrultusunda yeni ne- silleri yetiştirecek ve yaşanan değişim ve dönüşü- me ayak uydurabilecek öğretmenlere ihtiyacımız olduğu muhakkaktır. Sizlerin bu doğrultuda canla başla görev yapacağınıza hiç kuşkumuz yoktur.”

Üniversitemiz Rektörü Prof. Dr. Mustafa Talha GÖNÜLLÜ ise şöyle konuştu: “Eğitim Fakültesi öğrencilerimizi, geleceğin eğitimcilerini, öğret- menlerini bugün mezun ediyoruz. Mutluluklarını gözlerinden okuyoruz. Bu güzel günlerin kendi- leri için aynı güzellikte devam etmesini diliyoruz. Her zaman başarılı sonuçlar diliyoruz kendileri- ne. Türk Standartları Enstitüsünden kalite belgesi alan 25 üniversiteden biri olarak belgemizi aldık. Böyle bir Üniversitede okumuş oldunuz. You young teachers’ concerns are not only the phy- sical suitability of the school or class you will hold duty, but it should be educating your students as individuals who reveal their own potentials, and who have the capacity to understand the world. Today, at the point we have arrived, it is certain that we need teachers who will raise new generati- ons in line with the 2023 vision and targets of our country and who can keep up with the change and transformation that is being experienced. We have no doubt that you will hold duty with your body and soul in line with this”
