BIOGRAPHY OF FIRUDIN MURADOV

Firudin Muradov was born on May 7, 1955 in city Siyazan, Azerbaijan Republic. In 1972 he joined the department of Mathematics and Mechanics of Baku State University and graduated from that university on 1977. From 1977 to 1991 he worked as engineer-programmer at the Computing Centre of Committee of Statistics Azerbaijan Republic. During work he studied operating systems and programming languages at rise of qualification courses.

In 1984 he joined the post-graduate of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics AS Azerbaijan Republic. In 1989 he defended a Ph.D. thesis on theme “Menger’s algebras of many-placed functions on topological spaces” at the Institute of Mathematics AS Moldova.

He joined the Department of Computer Engineering of Near East University in 2000. Before joining NEU he worked as senior teacher at the Department Mathematics and Mechanics of Baku State University and as Assistant Professor Doctor at the Department of Computer Engineering of International American University. He has published 20 scientific papers related to Semigroups of mappings and Menger’s algebras of many-placed functions on topological spaces.

Outside of professional interests, he travels, reads, writes, and enjoys living with his family.
