PRODUCTION
Fleece: Woollen coats of a domestic sheep or long-haired goat, especially after being sheared.
Greasy fleece: Not clean fleece. Greasy fleece contains yolk, suint, soluble foreign matter with fibres.
Fleece, Wool, Mohair
Wool: The textile fiber obtained from sheep and other animals, including cashmere from Cashmere goat and mohair from Angora goats. Not every sheep produces wool.
Native sheep breeds are non-woolled breeds. Wool in sheep are generally obtained fom merino.
Mohair: The textil fiber provided from Angora goats.

Sortiment
Sotiment means wool grading. It is defined as sortiment to classify the fleece according to its quality. Sotiment is based primarily on fiber diameter (fineness), but also length and the other quality traits.
