5. Dünya Su Forumu 16-22 Mart 2009 tarihleri arasında İstanbul'da düzenlenecek.Sermayenin yeni gösteri alanı İstanbul. İstanbul; ulusötesi sermaye tekelleri ve müstakbel yerli ortaklarının, hükümet sözcülerinin hep bir ağızdan su işini kotarabilenin ancak kendileri olacakları mesajlarını verecekleri; 90 milyar dolarlık pastanın dilimleneceği bir mekan mı olacak? 15 Mart günü, antikapitalist, emekten, doğadan yana olan bizler yaşamı savunmak için tüm dünyadan gelecek, İstanbul sokaklarında buluşacağız.Salonlar onların olsun, İstanbul sokakları bizim! Yıl 2006… sermayenin çarkları, dünya su tekellerinin kirli elleri Meksika’da Dördüncü Dünya Su Forumunda toplanır.
Forumda AKP delegasyonu tahmini değeri 90 milyar doları bulan dünyanın en büyük su özelleştirmelerinden birini yapmaya söz verir; forumun beşincisini İstanbul’a taşımaya talip olur... Ulusötesi tekeller masa başında suyun pazarlığını yaparken sokaklar on binlerin protestosuyla dolar…
Yıl 2009… Dünya Su Forumu’nun beşincisi için Türkiye seçilir. Sermaye tüm kollarıyla bu kez İstanbul’u
sarmalamak için hazırlanır; sermayenin çığırtkanlığını yapan işbirlikçiler de bu tezgahta hemen yerini alır. Kuraklığın, iklim değişikliğinin failleri; çiftçileri aç, susuz ve topraksız bırakanlar; kentleri yoksulluğa mahkum edenler; havayı, suyu, toprağı ve geleceğimizi satılığa çıkartır.Bu yağmacı ittifaka emekçilerin gözleri açık, yanıtı nettir:
Salonlar onların, sokaklar bizim olacak!
Bizler biliyoruz ki, doğanın ve emeğin sömürüsünden beslenen kapitalizmin kar hırsı dünyasında doğanın ve halkların yaşamının hiçbir önemi yok; suyun, havanın, toprağın özgürleşmesinin, kendi varlıklarını yeniden üretebilmelerinin koşulları yok; binlerce yıllık doğa ve tarih değerlerinin yaşatılmasının olanağı yok; özgürleşmenin olanağı yok. çünkü kapitalizmin dünyasında ekmek, su, hava, toprak ve hürriyet satılık!
Bizler bu cenderenin dışında, emekten, doğadan ve yaşamdan yanayız!

Meksika’daki yoldaşlarımızın sesiyle Türkiye’den yükselen sesleri buluşturacağız!
Kapitalist sistemin doğayı yok oluşa sürükleyen tüm politikalarına karşı doğa ve yaşamı savunmak için antikapitalist bir mücadele zemininde birleşeceğiz.
Kalkınma yalanı ile geldikleri yolun sonu görünüyor. Suyun büyük kısmının harcandığı kıtlığa çare olarak sunulan endüstriyel tarımın karşısında doğaya ve emeğe dost üretimlerimizle bizler, yarattıkları hiçbir krizin bedelini ödemeyeceğiz.
Suyun ticarileştirilmesi, daha fazla enerji tüketimi için çare gördükleri barajların karşısında, yok etmeye çalıştıkları insanlığın ortak tarih ve kültür mirasını Hasankeyf’te Allianoi’de ve dünyanın heryerinde savunduğumuz gibi İstanbul sokaklarında da karşılarında bizler olacağız.
Su yaşamdır. Yaşam hiçbir şirketin ya da devletin mülkiyetine terk edilemez. Yaşamlarımızın, sadece özel sektöre devri ile özelleştirilmesine değil, devlet eliyle piyasalaştırılmasına da karşı duracağız. Suya erişim hakkının sermayeye devrinin, susuzluğa mahkum edilmiş bölgelerdeki halklara size suyunuzu biz temin edeceğiz diyen
‘seçilmişlerin’ ve işbirlikçi stk’ların karşısında olacağız. Sakladıkları gerçekleri biz söyleyeceğiz. Kontörlü sayaçlara endeksleyecekleri bir kaşık suyu değil, hakkımız olanı isteyeceğiz.
Bu mücadelenin dünyanın tüm emekçilerinin ortak mücadelesi olduğunu bilen bizler, yaşamı savunmak için 15 Mart 2009’da İstanbulda tüm dünyadan gelecek antikapitalist, emekten, doğadan yana olanlarla buluşacağız. İstanbul sokaklarında suyumuzu ve yaşamlarımızı özgürleştirmek için yürüyeceğiz. Su yaşamdır, suyun ticarileştirilmesine hayır!

WATER WILL FIND ITS WAY ! LET’S FLOW THROUGH THE STREETS AND BE A FLOOD AT SQUARES FOR WATER !
The year 2006 … The wheels of the capital, the dirty hands of world’s water monopolies gather in the 4th World Water Forum in Mexico. In the forum, AKP delegation promises to carry out one of the biggest water privizations in the world of approximately 90 billion dollars and volunteers to hold the 5th forum in İstanbul. When transnational monopolies bargain for water around the table, ten thousands of people crowd the streets, protesting.
The year 2009… Turkey is selected for the 5th World Water Forum. The capital, with all its arms, prepares to grab İstanbul and the compradors touting for the capital take their parts in this frame immediately. The subjects of drought and climate change, the ones who famish farmers and let them go without water and land, the ones that sentence cities to poverty put our future on sale. The laborers are wide-awake and their answer is clear to this despoiler alliance:
Halls will be theirs and streets ours !
In a world ruled by capitalism’s greed for profit which lives on the exploitation of nature and labor, we know that people’s lives and nature are of no importance, there are no conditions for water, air, land to become free and to reproduce their own beings, there is no possibility to keep thousands-year old natural and cultural values alive and there is no chance to become free. Because, in capitalism’s world, food, water, air and freedom are for sale!
Out of this mangle, we are for labor, nature and life!
We are on the streets on the 15th of March!
We’ll get the voice of our comrades from Mexico and the voices rising from Turkey together!
In order to defend the nature and life, we are going to unite on a basis of an anticapitalist struggle against all the policies of the capitalist system that lead nature to extinction.
They are at the end of their road based on a developmentalism lie. With our natur and labor-friendly production against industrial agriculture which consumes most of the water and which is presented as a solution to famine, we will not pay any price for any crisis.
As we defended people’s common historical and natural heritage which they’ve been trying to destroy, in Hasankeyf, Allianoi and all around the world, against dams which are presented as a solution so as to commercialize water and create more energy consumption, we’re going to be against them on the streets of İstanbul once again.
Water is life. Life can never ever be delivered to the ownership of any state or company. Not only are we going to stand against privitization of our lives through delivery to free sector, but also to their marketization by states’ hands.
We are going to be against the right to water being delivered to the capital and against the elected ones and comprador NGOs that say “We will supply your water “ to people who live in areas sentenced to lack of water. We are going to expose the truths they’ve been hiding. We’re going to demand what we have right to, not a spoon of water that they’ll index to prepayment water meters.
Knowing that this struggle is a common struggle of all the laborers of the world, we’ll meet the ones for labor, nature and anticapitalism coming from all around the world in order to defend life on the 15th of March,2009 in İstanbul. We
are going to march on the streets of İstanbul to free our water and our lives. Water is life; No to commercialization of water!

¡EL AGUA ENCONTRARÁ SU CAMINO!
¡FLUYAMOS POR LAS CALLES E INUNDEMOS LAS PLAZAS POR EL AGUA!
El año 2006… Las ruedas de la capital, las manos sucias de monopolios de agua del mundo se juntan en el 4º Foro Mundial de Agua en México. En el foro, la delegación de AKP promete realizar una de las privatizaciones de agua más grandes en el mundo de aproximadamente 90 mil millones de dólares y se presta voluntario para organizar el 5º foro en Estambul. Cuando los monopolios transnacionales negocian con el agua alrededor de la mesa, diez mil personas llenan las calles, protestando.
El año 2009… Turquía es seleccionada para el 5º Foro Mundial de Agua. La capital, con todos sus brazos, se dispone a agarrar Estambul y los compradores que andan a la caza de la capital se ponen de su parte en este marco
inmediatamente. Los sujetos de sequía y cambio de clima, estos quiénes matan de hambre a agricultores y les dejan sin agua y tierra, estos que sentencian las ciudades a la pobreza, ponen nuestro futuro en venta. Los trabajadores están bien despiertos y su respuesta está clara a esta alianza pilladora:
¡Las salas serán suyas y las calles nuestras!
En un mundo gobernado por la avaricia del capitalismo que vive del beneficio de la explotación de naturaleza y el trabajo, sabemos que las vidas de la gente y la naturaleza no tienen ninguna importancia, no hay ninguna condición para que el agua, aire, tierra se hagan libres y reproduzcan a sus propios seres, no hay ninguna posibilidad de guardar valores naturales y culturales de hace miles años y no hay ninguna posibilidad para que sean libres. Porque, en el mundo del capitalismo, el alimento, el agua, el aire y la libertad están a la venta!
¡Fuera de este rodillo, somos para trabajo, naturaleza y vida!
¡Estamos en las calles el 15 de marzo!
¡Conseguiremos juntar la voz de nuestros compañeros de México y las voces que nos elevan desde Turquía!
A fin de defender la naturaleza y la vida, vamos a unirnos sobre la base de una lucha anticapitalista contra todas las políticas del sistema capitalista que conducen la naturaleza a la extinción.
Ellos están al final del camino que se basa en la mentira del desarrollismo. Con nuestra producción amiga de la naturaleza y del trabajo contraria a la agricultura industrial que consume la mayor parte del agua y que se presenta como una solución contra el hambre, no pagaremos ningún precio para ninguna crisis.
Cuando defendimos la herencia histórica y natural común de la gente que ellos han estado tratando de destruir, en Hasankeyf, Allianoi y por todo el mundo, contra presas que son presentadas como una solución para comercializar el agua y crear más consumo de energía, vamos a estar contra ellos en las calles de Estambul otra vez.
El agua es la vida. La vida nunca puede ser una propiedad entregada a un estado o compañía. No sólo vamos a estar en pie contra la privatización de nuestras vidas por la entrega para liberar el sector, sino también a su comercialización por parte de los estados. Vamos a estar contra del derecho de entregar agua a la capital y contra lso elegidos y las ONGs que dicen "suministraremos su agua" a la gente que vive en áreas condenadas a la carencia del agua. Vamos a exponer las verdades que ellos han estado escondiendo. Vamos a exigir nuestro derecho, no dejaremos que ni una cuchara de agua sea indexada en el contador de agua de pago adelantado.
Sabiendo que esta lucha es una lucha común de todos los trabajadores del mundo, encontraremos gente que viene de
todo el mundo reunida por el trabajo, la naturaleza y el anticapitalismo a fin de defender la vida el 15 de marzo de 2009 en Estambul. Vamos a manifestarnos por las calles de Estambul por la liberalización de nuestra agua y nuestras vidas. El agua es vida; ¡NO a la comercialización del agua!
