Comparison statistics (ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis etc.) can indicate whether there are differences among

more than two groups, but they can’t indicate the source of the differences. Multiple comparison

methods are statistical methods to examine the differences among three or more groups. In this study it

was aimed to compare Dunnett and permutation tests in the existence of heteroscedasticity. To compare

the methods, data of material density belonged to six group were used. As a result, it was found that

there was no statistical difference between two methods, but it is understood that permutation tests can

be preferred because of success on controlling type I error rate.
