Biography;

Dr. Rasime Kalkan has received his PhD in Eskisehir Osmangazi University during the period of 2005-2011. During her Ph.D., she worked in departments of; prenatal-postnatal diagnosis, cancer cytogenetics, molecular cytogenetics and molecular genetics. Currently, she is working as lecturer in Near East University. Her research has included

investigating DNA repairs and the importance of

the genetic abnormalities in brain tumors treatment. Gene expression, methylation analaysis

and chromosomal abnormalities in human cancers especially in brain tumors.

She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Epidemiological Research (JER),Journal of Epidemiology & Community, Journal of Syndromes and Gene Repair, Translational Biomedicine, Journal of Clinical Case Reports and International Journal of Transplantation Research . She has authored up to 10 research articles/books.
