INTRODUCTION
Circuit Theory I is the most important course in the Sophomore Year. It establishes the experimental foundations on which the verification of the theoretical analysis carried out in the classroom is built. In this course the theoretical and experimental work will follow each other.
During these experiments you will be taught dc circuits first and then introductory ac circuits. The aim is to prepare you for the Circuit Theory II lab which will follow next semester.
Safety in the lab is of utmost importance and you are expected to obey all the safety principles written in this lab manual.
There are a total of 9 experiments in this lab manual. I am sure you will enjoy doing these experiments. Before each experiment a summary of the theory will be given to you to remind you of the work carried out in the classroom.
Your comments will be very welcome at the end of the semester and may be used in making changes to the experimental work.
