dopedtitaniumdioxide(3DMGNTiO2)photoniccrystals[4]modifiedelectrodeswillbeusedas (photo)anodeandnanostructuresbasedonbondingofPtnanoparticlesbyusingelectropolimerizationon poly4(2,5di(thiophene2il)1Hpyrrol1il)benzenaminP(SNSNH2)conductingpolymer[5]modifiedgold electrodewillactascathode[6].Ifthesystemisoperatedunderlightandconstantpotential;waterwillbe oxidizinglysplittedbyIrO2.nH2Ocatalyst,andproductionofoxgeninanodeandproductionofhydrogenin cathodewillcertainlyoccur.Electropolymerizationofthevisibleregionsensitive
[Ru(bpy)2(bpyCONHArNH2)+2]and2(4aminobenzyl)malonicacidfunctionalizedIrO2.nH2Onanoparticleson
3DMGNTiO2filmsresultsinconnectionwiththeconductiveoligoanilinebridges.Thetransferofthe electronsarisingfromtheoxidationofwaterfromnanoparticlesintothevalencebandof [Ru(bpy)2(bpyCONHArNH2) +2 ]willbemorefasterduetothepresenceofconductiveoligoanilinecrosslinks. Withinthehelpoftheseconductivecrosslinks;theelectronflowfrom[Ru(bpy)2(bpyCONHArNH2) +2 ] conductivebandintotheconductivebandofTiO2andthenintotheelectrodewillbeveryfast.Thedoping oftheTiO2photoniccrystalfilmwithgoldnanoparticleswillalsoenhancethisfastelectrontransfer.Hence; thisfastelectrontransferwillbecompetitivewiththeprobableelectrontransferinthereversesystemor willbefaster.Underthesecircumstancestherewillbeanimportantincreaseinthequantumefficiencyof thesystem.
