A continuidade deste trabalho poderá ser realizada desenvolvendo-se as seguintes pesquisas:
Comparação dos resultados simulados com dados medidos em sistemas de 3.5G WCDMA/EUL em operação;
Verificação dos atrasos de retransmissão de pacotes de longa duração, em canais com desvanecimento;
Elaboração de novas tabelas AVI, baseadas em canais de propagação típicos das regiões nordeste e norte do Brasil;
Utilização de arranjos de antenas adaptativas e sistemas MIMO;
Desenvolvimento de um simulador estático de um sistema de 3.5G WCDMA completo, com expansão no UL (EUL) e no DL (HSDPA);
