Nordic Arctic Communicable Disease Control Network

Invitation

Dear colleagues!

We are pleased to invite you to a first meeting in the proposed network with the tentative name “The Nordic Arctic Communicable Disease Control Network (NACDC Network)”.

The members of the network are colleagues from the northern parts of Finland, Norway and Sweden with a regional responsibility for communicable disease control and prevention.

The three main objectives of this first meeting are - to initiate contacts between the colleagues - get an understanding of the differences in communicable disease legislations of our countries - to explore the options for future contacts and cooperation.

Time and place

The meeting will take place at the Clarion Hotel Sense in the center of Lulea, Sweden 23-24th of February 2017 (lunch to lunch).

Please confirm your participation (see the separate sheet), not later than Friday the 3rd of February. We will reserve rooms at the hotel for the participants that will stay overnight. Let us know if you want us to arrange for your accommodation.

The cost for accommodation and conference fee (to be divided per attendant as decided by our chief executives) will be 2380 SEK (2269 NOK/251 €) inclusive VAT to be paid by the participant. We are happy to provide you with meals during the meeting.

13.00 – 13.15 Welcome; aim of the NACDC Network meeting.

13.15 – 13.45 Around the table presentations.

13.45 – 14.30 Understanding the fundamentals of the Communicable Disease Acts and organizations in our countries (30 minutes per country to be prepared by us).

14.30 – 15.00 Coffee break

15.00 – 15.45 Understanding the fundamentals of the Communicable Disease Acts in our countries (continuing).

15.45 – 17.15 Statistical data on Infectious diseases collected in our different regions + discussions 19.00 Dinner at ”Clarion Sense Hotel” in Luleå.
