She was born in Lefkosa. She completed her primary education in 23 Nisan Primary school, and secondary education in Anafartalar Lycee.
After she had completed her BA degree in language teaching at Hacettepe University in Ankara, she started to work at Near East University.
She completed her MA degree in language teaching at Near East University. She also graduated from the Public Relations department of Anadolu University.
