Dersin Amacı
Dersin amacı öğrenciyi kereste imalatı hakkında bilgilendirmektir. Orman ürünleri sanayinin en temel kolu olan kereste endüstrisinde en az zayiat vererek maksimum verim ile kereste üretiminin gerçekleştirilmesini kavratmak. Kereste üretim yöntemleri ve standardizasyonu ile bu endüstride geliştirilen yeni kereste üretim teknikleri hakkında bilgiler kazandırmak.
Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları
Bu dersi başarı ile tamamlayan öğrenciler :
1.kereste üretimindeki teknik gelişmeleri özetleyebilecek 2.hammadde standartlarını açıklayabilecek
3.biçme metotlarında çeşitli teknikler uygulayabilecek
4.Üretilen kereste çeşitlerinde ölçümler ve hesaplamalar yapılabilir
5.kereste üretimindeki kapasiteyi ve kapasiteyi etkileyen faktörleri değerlendirebilecek 6.kereste endüstrisindeki biçme makinelerini görebilecek
7.biçme makinelerinin bakım ve tamirini görebilecek

Course Objective
The main objective of this course is to give students relevant insight regarding lumber manufacturing. Teaching of lumber production with the maximum yield and minimum loss. Giving information on the lumber manufacturing methods, standardization and new approaches developed for sawmilling industry.
Course Learning Outcomes
It is expected that students will be able to:
1.the technical development of lumber manufacturing 2.describe standards for raw materials
3.apply various techniques in sawing methods 4.Teaches the types of lumbers and measurements
5.evaluate productivity in lumber manufacturing and factors effective on the productivit 6.see sawing machines using for the lumber industry
