The 9th annual scientific meeting of the Heart

Failure Society of America

Amerika Kalp Yetersizli¤i Derne¤i’nin 9. y›ll›k bilimsel toplant›s›

Dear Professor Timuralp, The 9th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Heart Failure Society of America held September 18-21, 2005 in Boca Raton, Florida was an outstanding success. Once again we held more than 3,000 attendees and the level of presentations was extra-ordinarily high. The meeting brings together the mixture of basic scientists and academic cardiologists with a strong focus on translational medicine.

We look forward for having next year’s meeting in September, which will be held in Seattle, Washington. We view our meeting as an opportunity for scientists, clinical investiga-tors, research nurses, industry representatives, federal

regula-tions and clinicians to gather together and create dialog related to the field of heart failure. It is also great opportunity for young investigators to demonstrate their work, and a number of fel-lowship awards are provided each year to support young peo-ple with outstanding potential for an academic career in the field of heart failure. Although most of the attendees are from the United States and Canada, some came from Europe and Japan. We believe our annual scientific meeting has become the premier scientific venue for exchange of new information in the field of heart failure. We look forward to expanding partici-pation by anyone with a a scientific interest in this field.

Sincerely Yours,

Gary S. Francis
