Hotel Pera Palas has been established in 1892 in order to accommodate and entertain the passangers of the well known "Orient Express". The Hotel deco rated and furnished by the famous artists of 1890's. Most of the precious material being well preserved to our day.
Pera Palas is famed to have served Kings, Queens, political leaders, famous movie stars.
Atatürk, our greatest leader's room 101 has been changed into a museum in 1981 with all its original furniture on occasion of his centennial birthday.
The mysterious key which was expected to shed- light upon the eleven dark days in the life of the world famous authoress Agatha Christie was found in 7th March 1979 with the great efforts of psychic Tamara Rand and Warner Bros. Film Co. in room 411 and is now preserved in our Hotel.
Hotel Pera palas is located in the center of Istanbul where the continents of Asia and Europe meet facing the mystical view of the Golden horn. The Hotel has 120 rooms with bath and 200 beds. The floors are still covered genuine hand made Turkish carpets.
