Umut Zeki was born in 1978 in the TRNC. He is working currently as a part-time faculty member in the Near East University,
Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Computer Informatics Systems and he serves as director of a private ComputeröcompanymSmartbSolutions.
He went to Cayirova Primary School as Primary School, Türk Maarif Koleji as middle school and high school.He graduated from the Computer Engineering Department in 2001at Eastern Mediterranean University.
He received a master's degree in Information Systems Department in 2004 at Eastern
Mediterranean University. In the meantime, He started to work in EMU Computer Center as Systems Support Specialist and Network Engineer in sequence. He attended to the repair and restoration of the school's network infrastructure.
In 2004, he worked in IRN Networks as a Web Designer for a period of 1 year.
During this time,he has designed web pages of many major companies . In 2005, he left IRN and established his own business Orange Computer,
until 2009, has delegated to various companies and end users, computer-related sales, technical support, web design, and installation of network infrastructure services in the field found.
Meanwhile in 2006, he won the Ph.D. program in Information Systems Management in The Girne American University. Unfortinately in 2008, he was forced to leave because of intense work pace while he was half of the doctoral program.
In 2007 he bought an Internet Cafe named as Smart Net.
He continued to work as Director in Orange Computer and Smart Net until the year 2009 which he sold Orange Computer.
Last year he opened the second branch of Net Cafe as Smart Net 2
Also in 2010, he completed his master's degree in Atatürk Öğretmen Akademisi, Ortaöğretim Alan Öğretmenliği Department.
In addition to all,since 2 years, he has been working as a part-time System Administrator in the Office of the European Union support.
