The Romanian Society of Mathematics is one of the oldest professional
organisations in Romania as well as in Europe.
Our Society aims to promote Mathematics as a science, to encourage and support
scientific research in
Mathematics and to boost students’ knowledge and interest in this subject.
Romanya Matematik Topluluğu Romanya’da olduğu gibi Avrupa’da en eski mesleki kurumlardan bir tanesidir.

The Romanian Society of Mathematics (http://rms.unibuc.ro) was founded in 1910, with the purpose of encouraging and promoting the transmission of mathematical knowledge and skills, mathematics education, training and research.
The RSM produces and distributes a large number of publications at the national and international level
(information and training resources, including the Gazeta Matematica).
The RSM receives support and recognition from the Ministry of
Education; it is accredited as a training provider and it issues certificates for teachers.

coordinates the training of the International Mathematical Olympiad team.
