Bu ünitede bu zaman kalıbını geçmişteki tecrübelerimizden bahsederken kullanacağız. Bu zaman kalıbının kuralı

“have/has” yardımcı fiili ile fiilin 3.halini kullanmaktır. Bu konu içinde üzerinde duracağımız kalıp özellikle “have you ever …” kalıbıdır.

“Have you ever …” kalıbı ne demektir ve hangi durumlarda kullanılır?

Hayatımızda yaptığımız şeylerden bahsederken kullanırız. Karşı tarafa “sen hayatında hiç şunu yaptın mı?” – “sen hayatında hiç bunu yaptın mı?” gibi Türkçeye çevrilir. Bu kalıp ile karşınızdakine şimdiye kadar hiç, herhangi bir kere herhangi bir eylemi yapıp yapmadığını sorabilirsiniz. Örneklerden daha iyi anlaşılacaktır.

Examples:

➢ Have you ever been to İstanbul? (Sen hiç İstanbul’da bulundun mu?) Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.

➢ Have you ever seen a historic place? (Sen hiç tarihi bir yer gördün mü?) Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.

➢ Have you ever stayed in a tent? (Sen hiç çadırda kaldın mı?) Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.

➢ Have you ever met a famous person? (Sen hiç ünlü biriyle tanıştın mı?) Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.

Examples:

I guess Rize is greener than Muğla. (“Rize’nin Muğla’dan daha yeşil olduğunu tahmin ediyorum” ya da “sanırım Rize Muğla’dan daha yeşil”.)

In my opinion, you can have more fun there. (Bence/benim fikrim; sen orada daha çok eğlenirsin.)
