RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS
5.0 Presentation
This chapter presents the major findings of the research. It gives practical recommendations for the primary school English language teachers and finally discusses possible further research.
5.1 Summary of the Results & Conclusions
As it is mentioned in Chapter I, the study was designed to find out the attitudes of the English language teachers of the private junior college towards the use of educational technology in the language classroom. The research questions of the study were:
1- What are the opinions of the English language teachers of Near East Junior College on the use of educational technologies in the EFL classrooms?
2- How can educational technologies in the EFL classroom be associated with the teaching of the four language skills?
3- Can using educational technologies in the EFL classroom help to motivate students?
4- Does using educational technologies in the EFL classroom make teaching easier and more effective than traditional educational materials?
5.1.1 Opinions on the Use of Educational Technology
Regarding the first research question above, several conclusions have been reached.
First of all it was concluded from the analysis that a majority of the English language teachers who teach for the private college in North Cyprus have used at least one kind of educational technology throughout their teaching experience. Second, it was concluded that educational technology will make teaching more challenging and effective in the coming years. The teachers had positive attitudes toward the use of educational technology in teaching. The
