Beyazıt Meydanı, 1890 Saray-ı Atik’in bulunduğu meydan XIX. yüzyılda askeri talim yeri olarak kullanılıyordu. Günümüzde aynı yerde İstanbul Üniversitesi’ ne ait binalar var.
