ÖNERİLER

Stachys oldukça büyük, polimorfik ve önemli taksonomik problemlere sahip

olan bir cinstir. Sadece morfolojiye dayalı klasik taksonomik çalışmalar, böylesine bir cinsin taksonomik problemlerinin çözümü ve filogenisinin net olarak ortaya konması için yeterli değildir. Bu çalışmadan elde edilen veriler, cinsin taksonomik olarak daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için anatomik ve mikromorfolojik olarak karakterlerin göz ardı edilmemesi gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Sadece cinsin dahil olduğu Lamiaceae familyasının değil, bitkiler alemindeki bütün taksonomik grupların değerlendirilmesinde, morfolojik, karyolojik ve moleküler çalışmalar kadar önemli olan anatomik ve mikromorfolojik karakterler de değerlendirilmelidir.
