141 PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS' VTEWS ON TEXTBOOKS: TEXTBOOK DESIGNS

In this study, aimed to examine the opinions of elementary school students about the designs of the textbooks. In this study, case study one of the qualitative research methods was used in the study. The study group consists of 12 fourth-grade students studying at a public school and determined using the appropriate sampling technique. 6 of the students are girls and 6 are boys. The data of the study were collected through semi-structured interviews with a form of 25 questions. The data were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the students had positive and negative thoughts about the cover, theme, text, activity, visual, font and font, page layout and size in the textbooks.
