Emrah Öztürk - Lecturer
He was born on 10th of March 1986, in Güzelyurt. He graduated from Near East University Faculty of Communication Radio – Tv – Cinema Department in 2008. He completed his postgraduation programme “Film and Cultural
Studies” from Sunderland University in 2010. He worked as a Turkish unit coordinator in a Hollywood movie called “Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance”.
Also he worked as an assitant director in tv shows called “Evim Şahane” at Kanal D and “Canım Doktor” at TV8. He worked at private education instutites named Sinematek and Fil’m Hafizasi as a cinema lecturer. He is still working at Fil’m Hafızası as an editorial manager. He has 6 short movies which were selected to 9 film festivals, including 15. Golden Boll Film Festival, 13. Boston Turkish Film Festival and International Cyprus Short Film Festival. He won Süleyman Uluçamgil Poem Award in 2005 and Tarık Dursun K. Short Story Award in 2012. His stories had been published in several literature magazines such as Varlık, Kitap-lık and Sarnıç. In May of 2014 his first story book “Limon Yağmuru” published from Yapı Kredi Press.
