Was born in Nicosia Cyprus. After completing high school education in TMK, she went to İstanbul for university life. She was graduated from Marmara University, Business Administrationand specialized on accounting and finance in 1997. Her banking career started in the same year as a credit analyst in İstanbul, Turkey. After 3 months she continued her education in the same university in Banking department and graduated in 2000 and got her master degree on Banking and Finance. While working she has done her PhD degree as well between 2000-2004. She has worked for different banks as credit analyst, customer representative, branch manager and marketing manager for 15 years. Found the opportunity to involve in research programs of the banks' credit portfolios that were under the insurance fund after the economic crisis in 2000-2001 in Turkey. Organizing risk management center at the head office, opening new branches in Cyprus, organizing customer representative program related with premium system are her other experiences.
She started teaching in European University of Lefke in 2010 as a part time lecturer.
After resigned from banking in January 2012, started to give lectures in four universities including Eastern Mediterranean University, Middle East Technical University, Near East University and European University of Lefke.
In 2013 granted European Union Scholarship for Turkish Cypriot Community, she hasdonethe postdoctoral degree on finance in University of Groningen, Faculty of Economics and Business, Research School SOM in 2013-2014 academic yearin Netherlands. University of Groningen is in the top 100 of the Shanghai ARWU, the Times Higher Education (THE) and the QS World University ranking lists, the most influential ranking lists in the academic world.
She has given many courses in Turkey and Cyprus to bankers in the banks on credit analysis, marketing, customer relations, products and services.She is still a president of TRNC Youth Bankers Association and a volunteer in Cancer Research Fund. She is still teaching in two universities in Northern Cyprus as a part time lecturer in NEU, and a senior lecturer in University of Mediterranean Karpasia. She speaks English, French and Italian.
