FİLİZ AL-SHANABLEH
She was born in Ordu, Turkey on August 31st, 1965. After she graduated from Ordu Lisesi in 1982
she continued his higher education in Middle East Technical University, Engineering Faculty, and Chemical Engineering Department. She received her B.Sc. degree in 1992 and at the same year joined the Engineering Faculty of the Near East University as a full time lecturer. She received her M.A. in Near East University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and International Relations Deparment in 1996. And also received her M.Sc. degree from Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Near East University in 2005. Her graduate studies continued in Mechanical Engineering Department at Near East University, and expected to complete her Ph.D. dissertation by the end of the 2015. The concerns about petroleum shortages, environmental issues and seeking for alternative energy sources from renewable feedstocks, her research studies are focused on production and standardization of biodiesel from various sources and improvement of its properties (specifically cold flow properties of biodiesel). She is married and a mother of 4 children.
