• The general provisions of the marriage are in general the organisation and the protection of the marriage.

• The organisation of the marriage

• There will be some obligations and rights arising after the marriage.

• The spouses should obey and fullfill these conditions during the marital union.

• The marital union depends on the mutual respect, love and common duties.

• The spouses should contribute to the needs of the marital union commonly.

• The marital union is a part of the personality of the spouses.

• Any attack/violatiion to the marital unmion will be made against to the spouses’ personality.

• The spouses should make the organisation of the marital union commonly.

• They have loyalty obligation to each other.

• They also have the obligaon to aid to other spouse as part of the common life.

• They also have the obligaon to share information or clearification to each other.

• Wife’s surname

• The surname of the wife will change as the marriage is concluded.

• But she can ask from the marriage officer or the çivil registry that she wants to use the previous surname and nwe surname jointly.

• The marital livingplace

• The marital livingplace is decided jointly by the spouses.

• This place is also the «living place» of the each spouse.

• The obligation to join the expensese of the marital unin is also another obligation.

• Each spouse has the same authority to represent the marital union.

• Protection of the marital union

• The spouses can ask from the judge to take necessary precautions in order to protect the marital union.

• They can apply to the judge jointly or seperately.

• The judge will warn the spouses about the common duties.
