ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Near East University and especially the Faculty of Computer Engineering for giving me this chance to implement the knowledge and expertise I accumulated from studying at the university.
I found this project to be a very beneficial experience to practically implement what I studied in the university into a real life, beneficial software system.
Special thanks go to my project supervisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doğan Akay, who was there to help and guide me through the steps of constructing this system.
And special thanks to my fiance Esen Sultan Çil for her exemplary patience, love and understanding in bearing with me the long years of being away while i continued my degree program. Thanks for being a part of my life and supporting me through thick and thin.

ABSTRACT
I was approached by a computer selling company to construct an e-commerce system that allows customers to purchase products, mainly laptops, over the internet.
The system was designed to enable customers to browse through the interactive website, fill out an order form, and submit it to the company’s database.
Employees of the company will be able to view the orders made in the form of reports, and deliver the products accordingly.
Payments are made in cash or check to the delivery representative upon delivering the product to its customer. This method is called payment-on-delivery.
