Güvenlik Uyarıları Bir elektrikli cihaz kullanırken aşağıdaki basit güvenlik önlemleri her zaman alınmalıdır;

• Cihazı kullanmadan önce, kullanma kılavuzunu mutlaka okuyunuz.

• Cihazı çalıştırmadan önce şebeke voltajının cihazınızın tip etiketinde gösterilenle aynı olduğunu kontrol ediniz.

• Cihazınızı mutlaka topraklı bir prize takınız. Uzatma kordonu kullanıldığında yine topraklı ve kablo kesitinin 0,75 mm2 olmasına dikkat ediniz. Kordonu mutfakta yanan ocaktan uzak tutunuz.

• Cihazınızı herhangi bir tehlikeye maruz bırakmamak için uzatma kablosu kullanmamanızı tavsiye etmekteyiz. Eğer uzatma kablosu kullanırsanız, bağlayacağınız prizin topraklanmış olmasına dikkat ediniz.

• Çay makinenizi ısınmış ocak, fırın v.b. gibi ısınmış yüzeylerin yanına veya üstüne yerleştirmeyiniz.

• Cihazın temizlenmesi ve bakımı dışında cihaza müdahalede bulunmayınız. Cihazınızı eğer kablosu, fişi veya herhangi bir parçası arızalı ise kesinlikle kullanmayınız. GÜVENLİK

Su ısıtıcısı içinde su yoksa ve ya su seviyesi minimum seviyeden az seviyede ise kesinlikle cihazı

çalıştırmayınız.

Eğer su ısıtıcısı içindeki su tamamen bitmişse, cihaz açma kapama tuşu kapalı konuma getirilmelidir.

UYARI!

• Bu cihaz su kaynar kaynamaz, otomatik olarak sıcak tutma fonksiyonunu devreye sokup, suyun sıcak kalmasını sağlayacaktır. Ancak, cihazı kapatmak isterseniz, açma kapama tuşunu kapatınız.

• Su kaynarken demlikten çıkacak olan buhardan kendinizi koruyunuz ve çocukların kesinlikle cihazla oynamalarına engel olunuz.

• Cihazın su ısıtıcısı kullanılmadığı zaman veya içi boş iken, açma kapama tuşu kapalı konumda kalmalıdır.

• Cihaz su ısıtıcısını ve güç tabını suya veya herhangi bir sıvıya temas ettirmeyiniz. Bulaşık makinesi içine koymayınız ve banyo gibi nem düzeyi yüksek mekânlarda

kullanmayınız.

• Cihazı su ile doldururken, güç tabanından alınız.

• Cihazın su ısıtıcına su dışında herhangi bir sıvı koymayınız.

• Cihazın güç tabanını ve cihazınıza bağlanan elektrik bağlantılarını nemli bir şekilde bırakmayınız. Eğer

ıslanmışsa, kurumadan önce cihaz fişini prizden çekiniz ve cihaz tam olarak kurumadan kullanmaya çalışmayınız.

• Çay yapma makineniz klasik siyah çay demlemek için çok pratik bir cihazdır.

• Cihazınız suyu çok kısa bir sürede kaynatıp, sıcak tutma fonksiyonunu otomatik olarak devreye sokarak, enerji sarfiyatını %90 oranında düşürmektedir.

• Sıcak tutma fonksiyonu suyu minimum enerji seviyesinde kaynatmanızı sağlar, bu durum gereksiz buharlaşmayı önlemekle kalmayıp, demlik içindeki çayın devamlı olarak sıcak kalmasını ve enerji korunmasını sağlar.

• Su ısıtıcısı içinde su kaynar kaynamaz, su sıcaklığının sabit kalması için cihaz sıcak tutma fonksiyonunu devreye sokar.

• Su ısıtıcısı içindeki suyun kaynamış şekilde, demliğin içindeki çayın sıcak kalması ve minimum enerji sarfiyatı için cihaz otomatik olarak tüm gerekli işlemleri yapacaktır.

• Bu cihazı ayrıca su ısıtıcısı olarak da kullanabilirsiniz.

KULLANIM

Cihazın İlk Kullanımı • Cihazınız operasyon sırasında ısınacaktır, bu sebeple cihazın ısınmış yüzeylerine dokunmayınız. Su kaynamaya başladıktan sonra su ısıtıcısı ağzından elinizi uzak tutunuz.

• Cihazı yalnızca kendi kullanım alanı içinde kullanınız.

Cihazı su dışındaki herhangi bir sıvı ve solüsyonla doldurmayınız.

• Cihazı ilk kez kullanmadan önce, su ısıtıcısı içine su doldurup, 2 veya 3 kez kaynatınız ve her kaynamadan sonra yerine yeni su koyunuz. Bu işlemi gerçekleştirirken, su ısıtıcısı su seviyesinin max çizgisine kadar dolu olduğuna özen gösteriniz. Her kaynama sonrası, sıcak suyu dökünüz ve cihaz içini soğuk su ile çalkalayınız. Aynı şekilde demliği de yıkayınız.

• Suyu kaynattıktan sonra suyun sertlik derecesine bağlı olarak biraz pudramsı bir oluşum görülebilir. Bu normal bir durum olup, insan sağlığına herhangi bir etkisi yoktur.

Cihazın su ile

doldurulması • Cihaza su doldurmadan önce, güç tablasına su dökülmes- ini önlemek için cihazı mutlaka güç tabanından alınız.

• Cihaza kesinlikle 0.5 litreden az ve 2 litreden daha fazla su ile doldurmayınız.

• Eğer cihazda max seviyesinden daha fazla miktarsa su kaynatırsanız, cihaz fazla su kaynaması taşmaya sebep olacaktır.

Çayın demlenmesi • Cihazın fişini prize takınız.

• Cihaz kullanmadığınız zaman açma kapama tuşunu kapalı konumda bırakınız.

• Su ısıtıcısını demlemek istediğiniz çay miktarına bağlı olarak max ve min seviyeleri arasında suyla doldurunuz.

• Su ısıtıcısını güç tabanı üzerine yerleştiriniz.

• Demlik kapağını açınız ve demlik filtresini dışarı çıkarınız, demlemek istediğiniz kadar çayı filtre içine koyunuz ve filtre içinde bulunan çayı biraz soğuk suyla ıslattıktan sonra demlik içine geri yerleştiriniz.

• Açma kapama tuşuna bir kez basıldığında cihaz açılır.

100°C tuşuna basıldığında su kaynar, üç adet sinyal sesi duyulur ve sıcak tutma konumuna geçer. Bu durumda ışık mavi olacaktır. 50°C, 80°C, 90°C tuşlarına basılarak istenilen sıcaklıkta su elde edebilirsiniz. Kaynama esnasında, kırmızı ışık yanıp işlem bittiğinde ışık maviye dönecektir.

• Demlik sıcak tutma tabanına çelik veya cam demlik konularak 50°C, 80°C, 90°C sıcaklıklarında ısıtma yapabilir ve sıcak tutma tuşuna basarak sıcak tutma konumuna alabilirsiniz.

• Su ısıtıcısı içinde bulunan su miktarına bağlı olarak, su 3 ile 8 dakika arasında kaynayacaktır.

• Demliğin içini kaynamış su ile doldurunuz ve su ısıtıcısı üzerine yerleştiriniz. Eğer ihtiyaç duyarsanız su ısıtıcısı üzerine biraz daha su ekleyebilirsiniz. Su ısıtıcısına soğuk su eklenip açma kapama tuşuna basıldığında otomatik olarak suyu kaynatmaya tekrar başlayacaktır.

Önemli Özellik

• Çay makinenizde hem çelik hem de cam demlik mevcuttur.

Bir demliği su ısıtıcısının üzerine diğerini de yan tablaya koyarak aynı anda daha çok çay demleyebilirsiniz.

Suyun kaynatılması • Çay makinenizi su ısıtma veya kaynatma işlemleri için de kullanabilirsiniz.

• Su ısıtıcısına max ve min seviyeleri arasında suyla doldurduktan sonra güç tabanına yerleştiriniz. Demlik kapağını yerleştiriniz ve ardından açma kapama tuşunu açınız.

• Cihaz kısa sürede suyu kaynattıktan sonra, sıcak tutma fonksiyonunu devreye sokacaktır. Su ısıtıcısı açık pozisy- onda çalışmaya devam ettikte, kaynamış suyunuz sürekli olarak hazır bulunacaktır.

• Sıcak tutma fonksiyonu esnasında ısıtma işlemi min seviyede olacaktır. Bu durum suyun daha uzun bir süre boyunca hazır kalmasını ve suyun hızlı bir şekilde buharlaşmamasını sağlayacaktır.

• Eğer su ısıtıcısı içine soğuk su eklerseniz veya su ısıtıcısı içindeki su soğumuş ise açma kapama tuşunu açık konuma getirildiğinde cihaz kaynatma işlemini otomatik olarak başlatacaktır.

Güvenlik sistemi • Susuz çalışmaya karşı koruma: güvenlik açısından cihazınız termostat ile korunmaktadır. Eğer cihazınız su olmadan çalıştırılırsa, sistem enerjiyi otomatik olarak kesecektir. Bu durumda güvenlik sisteminin ortadan kalkması için cihazın su ısıtıcısı kısmı güç tabanından ayrılmalıdır.

Cihazın Temizliği • Cihazı temizlemeden önce mutlaka kullanma kılavuzunda belirtilen güvenlik uyarıları bölümünü okuyunuz.

• Cihazınızı temizlemeden önce, cihaz açma kapama tuşunu kapalı pozisyona getirip, fişini prizden çekiniz ve soğuması için bekleyiniz.

• Cihazın demlik ve filtresini elinizde veya bulaşık makine- sinde yıkayabilirsiniz.

• Cihazınızın su ısıtıcısında kalan suyu dökünüz ve dış kısmını da kuru veya hafif nemli bir bezle siliniz.

• Cihazın güç tabanını ve su ısıtıcısını kesinlikle suya değdirmeyiniz veya bulaşık makinesi içinde yıkamaya çalışmayınız.

• Cihazı temizlemek için kesinlikle sert aşındırıcı temizlik malzemeleri kullanmayınız.

• Cihazınızın kablosunun ve fişinin tamamen kurumuş olduğundan emin olunuz. Eğer ıslanırlarsa, prizden çekiniz ve hem fişi hem kabloyu kurulayınız.

Kirecin Temizlenmesi • Enerjinin korunması ve hijyen gibi sebeplerden ötürü su ısıtıcınızın içinde oluşan kirecin temizlenmesi önemlidir.

• Su ısıtıcısının içindeki ısıtma tabanında oluşan kireç, cihazınızın performansını etkileyecektir.

• Hafif şekilde oluşmuş kireci fırça yardımıyla kolayca temizleyebilirsiniz. ( Bu işlemi yaparken cihazın fişini prizden mutlaka çekiniz.)

• Kirecin temizlenmesi için ayrıca piyasada satılan kireç temizleyicileri kullanabilir ya da sirke ile kireç oluşumunu yok edebilirsiniz.

• Su ısıtıcını kireç temizleyici ürün ile temizleyecekseniz, ilk olarak su ısıtıcısında yeterli miktarda suyu kaynattıktan sonra kireç temizleyici ürünü suyun içine ekleyip,

karıştırınız. Ardından 2-3 dakika daha kaynatınız, karışımı dökünüz ve su ısıtıcısının için 2-3 kez daha temiz su ile durulayınız.

• Kirecin sirke ile temizlenmesi: su ısıtıcısının yarısını sirke ile doldurunuz ve 1 saat boyunca bekleyiniz. Ardından sirkeyi boşaltınız ve 2-3 kez temiz su ile durulayınız.

SAFETY

Important Safeguards When use electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following：

• Before operating this appliance, please read the instruction manual first.

• Before operating your appliance, make sure the power rating of your appliance does in fact match that of your electrical system.

• Plug your device to a grounded socket without fail. If extension cable is used, pay attention that cable section should be 0,75 mm2. Keep the cord away from the fire burning kitchen.

• To prevent harming your appliance do not use extension cords that supply insufficient current. When using extension cords, make sure to use grounded socket.

• Do not place tea maker over or near direct heat sources such as stove, heating oven, etc.

• Ensure that the appliance is placed on a firm and flat surface. Do not put it on the edge of a table or bench. The least blow or knock may overturn it. Do not forget that it may be full of hot water.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table counter or touch any other appliances.

• Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your device. Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the tea maker, hold the plug and never pull by the cord.

• Never interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and maintenance. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance

malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as by dropping down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Call immediately an authorized Fakir service.

• Always hold your appliance by its handle, since its other surfaces may be hot.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

Allow it to cool down before cleaning the appliance.

• Use tea maker with its own power base unit only. Do not place it on those units belonging to any other appliance.

• The appliance will automatically switch to “keep warm”

function to keep the water warm (for energy saving) as soon as the water boils. However, in order to switch off the appliance completely turns the switch off.

SAFETY

Do not turn the switch on when the kettle is empty or the water level is below the minimum level of 0,5 liter.

The switch must be turned off when the water contained in the kettle is completely finished.

WARNING!

• Avoid contact with steam to be ejected from spout when the water is boiling, and do not let children use the appliance.

• The switch must be in the off position, when the kettle is empty or when not in use.

• Never immerse the kettle and power base unit in water or other liquids, nor wash in a dishwasher, nor use in bathroom or any other places with a high rate of moisture.

• When filling with water remove the appliance from its power unit base.

• Never put anything into the kettle other than water.

• Never leave the power base unit and electrical connection ends of your device in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and not operate your appliance before having it dried completely.

• Your tea maker is a very practical appliance designed to steep classical tea.

• Your appliance boils water within a short period of time and switches automatically to “keep warm” function, decreasing the energy consumption at a rate of 90%.

• The “keep warm” function allows you to boil the water at a minimum energy level, thus not only preventing

unnecessary vaporization, but also ensuring to keep the tea contained in the teapot hot on a continuous basis and to provide energy saving.

• As soon as the water in the kettle starts boiling, the

appliance switched automatically to “keep warm” function, in order to keep the temparature of the water stable.

• Any actions that are necessary to keep the water boiled, the teapot warm, and for the minimum energy consumption, will be made by the device automatically.

• Unlike other tea makers or kettles, this device does not have a seperate boil/ keep warm switch. Instead this smart appliance senses the boiling state and switches automatically to “keep warm” function in order to save energy.

• You can also use this appliance as a kettle with the kettle cover.

First Usage • Tea maker heats up during operation; for this reason, do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance. Keep your hands away from the spout when the water starts boiling.

• Do not use for any purpose other than boiling water. Do not fill with any other liquids or solutions.

• Before using for the first time, wash the inside of your tea maker by putting water inside. Boil water two to three times inside of the kettle, and replace the water after each boiling. Make sure that device is filled with water up to the maximum level when doing this. After each time of boiling, pour out the hot water and rinse the inside of the device with cold water.

• After boiling the water, some powder-like sediment may form due to hardness of the water. This is quite natural and has no adverse effects whatsoever on human health.

Filling with water • Always remove the appliance from its power base unit when filling with water, to prevent the water to be spilled out on the tray.

• Do not fill with less than 0,5 liter of water or more than 2 liters of water.

• If you attempt to boil a quantity of water above the

maximum level, the boiling water may eject from the spout, respectively.

USAGE

Steeping tea • Connect the power cord to a grounded socket.

• It would be convenient for you to keep this unit plugged in the kitchen when not in use, provided that the switch is turned off.

• Fill the kettle with water between the maximum level and the minimum level, according to the quantity of tea you want to steep.

• Place the kettle over the power base unit.

• Open the teapot lid, take out the tea filter from its place, put an adequate amount of tea in the filter and locate it inside of the teapot after wetting it with cold water.

• Once pressing the on off button, appliance is opened.

When it is pressed on 100°C, water boils, sounds three signals and it swiches warm keeping. In this case light will be blue. It can be obtained desired water with pressing 50°C, 80°C, 90°C buttons. Light will be red during boiling, light will be blue when the operation is finished.

• Stainless steel or glass teapot can be put on teapot heating base and it can be obtained water at 50°C, 80°C, 90°C and keep warming at these temperatures with pressing keep warm button.

• Depending upon the quantity of water put into the kettle, the water will boil within 3 to 8 minutes, then you will hear again a beeping sound twice and the appliance switches automatically to “keep warm” function by decreasing the heating power to keep the water at the boiling state to ensure energy saving.

• Steep the tea using boiled water and relocate the teapot in its place. Add some water to the kettle if necessary. When cold water added to the kettle, turn keep warm button on, it starts boiling again.

Special Feature

• There are two teapots in your tea maker that are steel and glass. Tea can be made with two teapots at the same time and keep warm as well.

AFTER USE

Heating water • You can use the tea maker for the purpose of heating and boiling water also, if required.

• After filling with water between the minimum and maximum level, place the kettle group onto the power base unit, put the lid of the teapot, and turn the switch to the on position, as with the same procedure of steeping tea.

• After boiling water in a short time, the appliance switches to “keep warm” function. Your boiled water will be ready continuously, when the kettle is hold in the on position during the course of use.

• The heating process is at the minimum level during the

“keep warm” function, which keeps any available water ready for a prolonged period of time, and not allows the water to evaporate quickly.

• If some cold water is added to the kettle or water in the kettle cooled during serving, the appliance switches to the boiling function, in order to provide boiling in a short period of time, providing the kettle is placed on the power unit and switch is turned on.

Safety system • Protection Against Running Dry : For safety reasons your device is protected with thermostats. In case the product is run dry, this system cuts the power. If this occurs, the kettle part has to be seperated from the power unit to reset the safety system.

AFTER USE

Cleaning of the appliance • Before cleaning your appliance, ALWAYS read the instructions in the section “Important Safeguards” first.

• Before cleaning your appliance, turn the switch off, unplug from outlet, and allow it to cool down.

• You can wash the teapot and filter by hand or in a dishwasher.

• Pour out any remaining water contained in your kettle and wipe the outside of it thoroughly with a dry or damp cloth.

• Never immerse the power base unit and the kettle into water, nor wash them in a dishwasher.

• Avoid using abrasive and chemical cleaning agents (liquid bleach, hydrochloricacis, etc.) in cleaning any accessories of the appliance.

• Make sure that the cord and plug are completely dry. If getting wetted, unplug from outlet and dry both the cord and plug thoroughly.

Descaling of the appliance • It is important that the kettle is descaled regularly as appropriate, for hygiene and energy saving purposes.

• Limes and scales contained in the used water will form a brown layer on the heating base, reducing the effective- ness of your appliance.

• Light formation of limes and scales can be easily removed with a brush ( Do not forget to unplug the appliance before doing so ).

• The descaling agents sold and available on the market to use on household utensils as well as the vinegar can be used for removing the collected hard scales.

• To clean the kettle with a descaling agent: Once you have boiled some quantity of water in the appliance add descaling agent and mix them. Boil for 2-3 minutes more, pour out the mixture and rinse the inside of the kettle 2-3 times repeatedly with clean water.

• To clean with ordinary vinegar: Fill your appliance with a half liter of ordinary vinegar and wait for one hour. Then, pour away the vinegar and rinse it 2-3 times repeatedly with clean water.

Storage of the appliance • Unplugged the mains plug.

• You can place and leave the body of your appliance on the power base unit.

AFTER USE
