European standard EN14683 medical facemask requirements

Opia's facemask range meets the construction, design and performance requirements of European standard EN14683. Facemasks are tested for bacterial filtration efficiency, differential pressure, splash resistance and microbial cleanliness, and are evaluated for their biological safety before being placed on the market.

Opia offers a full selection of latex-free procedural and surgical facemasks, which meet EN14683 Type II or Type IIR requirements.

Avrupa standardı EN14683 tıbbi yüz maskesi gereksinimleri

Opia'nın yüz maskesi yelpazesi, Avrupa standardı EN14683'ün yapı, tasarım ve performans

gereksinimlerini karşılar. Yüz maskeleri, bakteriyel filtrasyon etkinliği, diferansiyel basınç, sıçrama direnci ve mikrobiyal temizlik açısından test edilir ve piyasaya sürülmeden önce biyolojik güvenlikleri açısından değerlendirilir. European standard EN149 respiratory mask requirements

Opia’s respiratory mask range is compliant with European standard EN149+A1:2009 for filtering half masks as respiratory protective devices to protect against particles. The range consists of cone-shaped and flat-shaped masks, with or without a valve, that fall under one of the performance classes specified by the standard: FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3.

Surgical Face Mask

This type of facemask should be used during possible exposure to pathogens. It is effective against

transmission via droplets (saliva and other

secretions). Protection against airborne pathogens is not possible. There are three classifications, based on EN 14683 standards (Type I, Type II and Type IIR).

However, Medline only carries the classifications described below:

Cerrahi Yüz Maskesi

Bu tip yüz maskesi, patojenlere olası maruz kalma sırasında kullanılmalıdır. Damlacık (tükürük ve diğer salgılar) yoluyla bulaşmaya karşı etkilidir. Havadaki patojenlere karşı koruma mümkün değildir. EN 14683 standartlarına göre üç sınıflandırma vardır (Tip I, Tip II ve Tip IIR). Ancak Medline yalnızca aşağıda

Type II Surgical Mask

Type II face masks should be used during surgical intervention or patient care procedures with no possibility of exposure to biological fluids. Depending on intended use, these face masks may come with:

• Ear loops: on procedure masks; to be used in wards, for patient care (dressing procedure etc.) Do not use in the operating theatre

• Ties: on surgical facemasks; to be used in the operating theatre

Type IIR Surgical Mask

Type IIR facemasks should be used during surgical intervention or patient care procedures with possibility of exposure to biological fluids. These facemasks offer high-level protection against fluids and are suitable for long procedures.

To improve the level of protection and comfort, different options are available (shield, anti-fog band etc.). Type IIR facemasks are also available with ties and ear loops.

Type II Cerrahi Maske

Tip II yüz maskeleri, cerrahi müdahale veya hasta bakım prosedürleri sırasında biyolojik sıvılara maruz kalma olasılığı olmadan kullanılmalıdır. Kullanım amacına bağlı olarak, bu yüz maskeleri aşağıdakilerle birlikte gelebilir:

• Kulak halkaları: prosedür maskelerinde; koğuşlarda, hasta bakımı için (soyunma vb.) Ameliyathanede kullanmayınız.

• Kravatlar: cerrahi yüz maskelerinde;

ameliyathanede kullanılacak Type IIR Cerrahi Maske

Biyolojik sıvılara maruz kalma olasılığı olan cerrahi müdahale veya hasta bakım prosedürleri sırasında Tip IIR yüz maskeleri kullanılmalıdır. Bu yüz

maskeleri sıvılara karşı üst düzey koruma sağlar ve uzun prosedürler için uygundur.

Koruma ve konfor seviyesini artırmak için farklı seçenekler mevcuttur (koruma, buğu önleyici bant vb.). Tip IIR yüz maskeleri ayrıca basit, kullanışlı kulak halkalı olarak da mevcuttur.
