LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Colleagues,

I wish you a happy, successful, healthy new year.

I would like to summarize our Works since October 2015. We had done the Rising Star programme. Twenty three young obstetrics and gynecology specialists under 40 years of age were selected. They had undergoen a 3 days of programme which was very intetresting and hope that they will be our future.

We had done the 6th assistant school in Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic and 32 young asisstants attended this programme, it was fruitful for them.

We are continuing our regional meetings. Our ethics and law committee are making very succesful meetings all around the country. Our colleagues like it very much.

You know that a cardiologist who is working as a dietician and also believes that she knows the pregnant women more than us. She is against glucose tolerance test and unfortunately effects the society via media very much. We have applied to İstanbul Medical Association and she was withdrown from her work for 15 days.

As you know Ebcog congress was postponed to 2017 and this year we are going to do our congress from 5th to 9th of October at Antalya.

At the end of the 2016 we are going to do a congress of Nutrition of pregnant, lactating and adolescent women at Ankara.

We are waiting for your best studies to our journal.
