Dear colleagues;
In the light of archeological findings,today, we know that the oldest scripture was developed by Sumerians in the year 3200 BC. We also acknowledge that writing is the sine qua non of the history, art, culture, and science. Thanks to discovery of writing each value created by human beings could be transferred to the next generation. Science of medicine whose most important fight aims to overcome death has gained immortality through writing.
We have started out to meet your works with large masses, and immortalize your findings by publishing them in The Journal of Tepecik Training and Research Hospital which was founded by our instructor Hilmi Kumcuoğlu, and meticulously maintained by our academicians Ragıp Kayar, Işın Yaprak, and Cengiz Özbek. From now on we will endeavour to raise Journal of Tepecik Training and Research Hospital to a leading position in the medicine community with the invaluable support from our academicians Gökhan Köylüoğlu and Gökhan Akbulut who believe the functionality of the journal by heart.
Don’t forget “WORDS FLY AWAY, WRITINGS REMAIN.”.

Değerli Meslektaşlarım;
Arkeolojik bulgular ışığında bugün biliyoruz ki en eski yazı sistemi MÖ 3200 yıllarında Sümerler tarafından geliştirilmiş- tir. Yine biliyoruz ki tarihin, sanatın, kültürün ve bilimin olmazsa olmazı yazıdır. Yazı sayesinde insanoğlunun yarattığı her değer bir sonraki kuşağa aktarılabilmiştir. En önemli savaşı ölümü alt etmek olan tıp bilimi de ancak yazı sayesinde ölüm- süzlük kazanabilmiştir.
Bizler burada, 25 yıl önce Hilmi Kumcuoğlu Hocamız tarafından temeli atılıp, Ragıp Kayar, Işın Yaprak ve Cengiz Özbek Hocalarımız tarafından özenle sürdürülen Tepecik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Dergisinde çalışmalarınızı geniş kitlelerle buluşturmak, bulgularınızı ölümsüzleştirmek için yola çıktık. Bundan böyle derginin işlevselliğine yürekten inanan Gökhan Köylüoğlu ve Gökhan Akbulut Hocalarımızın desteğiyle Tepecik EA Hastanesi Dergisinin Tıp camiasında yol gösterici bir konuma ulaşması için çalışacağız.
Unutmayın ki; “SÖZ UÇAR, YAZI KALIR”.
