Essay Topic
Read carefully the two texts from the links below and write your response. You are free to choose any angle and you are free to write anything you want (you can even use these texts to talk about Turkey), as long as your text is coherent and has arguments based on logic. For your response you should also use (at least) one more source that you can easily find on internet (of course, you can also use books, newspapers, films etc.). Use MLA style when you refer to the various sources in your text, and also at the end of your response write down the sources under the title “References” (again using MLA style). Your text should be between 1000 and 15000 words.

Keep in mind that:
Your text should have a title. The title should be clear enough for the reader to understand what your text is about.
You don’t have to agree with the texts. Feel free to argue against them, if you feel that this is what you should do.
Your introductory paragraph should contain your thesis statement, that is your main idea. Each of the following paragraphs should contain arguments and examples.
