Özet
Bu çalışmada, ihracat ve ithalat yönlü büyüme hipotezleri çerçevesinde, 1998-2011 Haziram döneminde, Türkiye’nin GSYİH’sının büyüme dinamiğine ihracat ve ithalatın katkısı araştırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; ithalatın gerek tek başına ve gerekse ihracat ile birlikte GSYIH’nın artışına sebep olduğu tespit edil-miştir. Türk ekonomisinin ithalata dayalı ihracat yapısı doğrulanarak ihracatın it-halata sebep olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca, ihracat ve GSYİH’daki artışın birlikte de ithalatta artışa sebep olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The Structure of Turkish Foreign Trade and the
Economical Growth
Abstract
In this study, the scope of export and import oriented growth hypothesis, export and imports’ contribution to the dynamic of the Turkish GDP Growth have been investigated during the period between 1998 and 2011 June. According to the di-agnoses which are found, the imporatation alone and together with exportation causes GDP growth. The import dependency of Turkish economy is proven aga-in and it is determaga-ined that exportation causes importation. On the other side, ex-portation and GDP growth together leads to increase in an increase in importa-tion.
