Bu çalışmada Türkiye için önem arz eden toplam 21 çeşit mineralin rezervle­ ri, üretimleri, tüketimleri, fiyatları, arz/talep dengesi, üretim kapasiteleri ve bek­ lenen gelişmeler ele alınarak, dünya madenciliğindeki 1986 ve 1987 yılındaki gelişmeler, sergilenmeye çalışılmıştır.

Bu çalışmadan elde edilen en önemli sonuç, 1987 yılında mineral ve metal fi­ yatlarındaki önemli artışlara karşın, dünya mineral fiyatlarının son 15 yıldır, İkin­ ci Dünya Savaşından beri en düşük seviyede olduğunun belirlenmesidir.

ABSTRACT

In this study, the reserves, productions, consumptions, supply and demand balances, prices and production capacities of 21 minerals which are conside­ rably important for Turkey are presented. The developments in World mining between 1986 and 1987 are also reviewed.

The most important result obtained from this study is that, in spite of the unre­ asonable increases in 1987, the mineral and metal prices during the last 15 years are depressed to their minimum since the Second World War.
