Pretreatment: Surfaces of test profile with a damp tissue paper before being placed in the test without any damage to the coating has been cleaned. Thus, oil and pollution factors which may cause corrosion is eliminated. X cut was applied on the test profile before the test.

Filiform korozyon testi; ( ISO 4623-2 standardına göre ) Filiform corrosion test; ( according to ISO 4623-2 )

Test bilgisi: Test plakaları üzerine yatay ve dikey olacak şekilde iki çizik atılmıştır. Bu çizikler üzerine konsantrasyonu 37%, yoğunluğu 1.18 g/cm3 olan hidroklorik asit damlatılmış ve 1 dakika boyunca bekletilmiştir. Ardından çizikler üzerindeki asit kalıntıları silinerek test plakaları ortam koşullarında 1 saat bekletildikten sonra 1000 saat için 40 ± 2°C ve 82 ± 5% bağıl nem ortamına konulmuştur.

Test information: The scratches are applied either vertically or horizontally onto the test panels. Corrosion is produced by dripping hydrochloric acid (concentration 37%, density 1.18 g/cm3) along the scratches for 1 minute. Then the acid is removed carefully with a piece of cloth. After 1 hour in laboratory conditions, the samples are put into the test cabinet at 40 ±2°C and 82 ±5% relative humidity for 1000 hours.
