EDITORIAL
De¤erli Adli Bilimci’ler,
Dergimizin ilk bask›s›n›n yap›ld›¤› 1996 y›l›ndan 2006 y›l› sonuna kadar 11 ciltten oluflan dizisini ara vermeden kesintisiz olarak yay›nlanma baflar›s›n› gösteren Adli T›p Bülteni Yay›n Kurulu ad›na sayg› ile selaml›yoruz.
Dergimizin 12. cildinin ilk say›s›, yay›n kurulundaki gö-rev de¤iflikli¤i ile elinize ulafl›yor. “Adli T›p Bülteni”ni tüm olumsuz koflullara karfl›n, siz alana emek veren adli bilimci-lerin de büyük deste¤i ile yay›n hayat›n› baflar› ile sürdürdü. Bu baflar›da baflta editörlerimiz say›n Prof. Dr. Serpil Sala-çin ve say›n Prof. Dr. fiebnem Korur Fincanc› ile yay›n ku-rulunda görev alm›fl meslektafllar›m›za teflekkür ediyor ve desteklerinin artarak devam edece¤ini ümit ediyoruz.
Adli T›p Bülteni, ilk editörü say›n Prof. Dr. Serpil Sala-çin’in bültenin 1. say›s›nda belirtti¤i amaca uygun olarak, her geçen gün daha da güçlenerek yay›n hayat›n› sürdür-mektedir. Yay›n ak›fl›nda zaman zaman kesintiler olsa da, amac› do¤rultusunda “alan›ndaki bilgi ak›fl›n› sa¤lama ve bilimsel geliflmelerin önemli bir parças› olma özelli¤ini” Adli T›p Uzmanlar› Derne¤i’nin resmi bilimsel yay›n or-gan› kimli¤i ile devam ettirmektedir. Hedefleri do¤rultu-sunda uluslararas› indekslerce taranan bir dergi olma yo-lunda ilk ad›m›n› atan dergimizin bu alandaki çal›flmalar› say›n Prof. Dr. fiebnem Korur Fincanc› taraf›ndan yürü-tülmektedir. Görevini genç meslektafl›na devretmifl olsa da alan›m›zdaki uluslar aras› deneyimi ile Adli T›p Bülteni’ni çok farkl› noktalara tafl›yaca¤› inanc›nday›m. Bu alanda yapaca¤› katk›lardan dolay› say›n hocama biz kez daha te-flekkür etmek istiyorum.
Bundan böyle Adli T›p Bülteni’ne yay›nlanmak üzere gönderdi¤iniz çal›flmalar›n›z›n de¤erlendirmesini daha h›z-l› yapabilmek ve bask› aflamas›na getirmek amac› ile iletifli-mi elektronik ortamda yapmaya bafllad›k. Bu amaçla adlitipbulteni@gmail.com elektronik posta adresi üzerin-den yaz›flmalar›m›z› bafllatt›k. Sizlerin de katk›s› ile yaz›la-r›n de¤erlendirilme sürecinin h›zlanaca¤›na inan›yoruz.
Ve, kahredici bir kay›p. Say›n Prof. Dr. Ali Yemiflçi-gil’i kaybettik. 1992 y›l›nda karfl›laflm›flt›m ilk kez. S›k s›k kongre ve sempozyumlarda bir araya gelmifltik sonra-s›nda. En uzun mesailerimiz Meslekte Yeterlilik Kurulu toplant›lar› s›ras›nda olmufltu hastal›k onu tüketmeye çal›fl›rken. ‹mrenerek izledim azmini inad›na üretirken -“Sahici” akademisyen kimli¤i ile son ana kadar ö¤retir-ken -. Sevgili Ali A¤abey ile birlikte olman›n k›sac›k da olsa tad›n› ç›kard›m. Üzüntüm yak›ndan tan›y›p ö¤ren-me f›rsat› bulamayanlar, ya da yan› bafl›nda olup bu f›rsa-t› de¤erlendiremeyenler içindir. Kendi de¤erlerine sonu-na kadar ba¤l›, hayata dair çok fley ö¤rendi¤im Say›n Prof. Dr. Ali Yemiflçigil’i sayg› ile an›yorum.

Dear Forensic Scientists,
As the publication committee of the Bulletin of Legal Medicine, we would like to greet and proudly inform that the Forensic Medicine Bulletin has been published in total 11 volume without any interruption since 1996 to 2006.
You have been receiving the first number of 12th volu-me with a new publication committee. In spite of sovolu-me difficulties, the Bulletin of Legal Medicine has been pub-lished successfully with your support. We would like to thank especially to Professor Serpil Salaçin and Profes-sor fiebnem Korur Fincanc› for their support. Moreover, we would like to thank to our colleagues who took part in the publication committee and they will go on their valuable efforts.
According to the aim that was pointed out by Professor Serpil Salaçin, the first editor of the Bulletin of Legal Medi-cine, at the first number, the Bulletin is getting stronger everyday. Although the Bulletin of Legal Medicine has ex-perienced some difficulties, the mission “transferring infor-mation in its field and being an important part of scientific developing”, has been delivered under the name of the So-ciety of Forensic Medicine Specialists' official scientific publication. In order to achieve the target that being accep-ted by international scientific indexes, the first step was ta-ken and Professor fiebnem Korur Fincanc› is working on further steps. Although she left her post as an editor to her young colleagues, we believed that she will contribute the Bulletin of Legal Medicine with her international experien-ce. At this point, we would like to thank to her for future assistance.
In order to make faster the editorial process of papers, we will receive papers electronically, and our e-mail ad-dress is adlitipbulteni@gmail.com. We believe that edito-rial process will take shorter time with this new way of communication.
And a tragic death, we lost Professor Ali Yemiflçigil. I first met him in 1992. After that we had seen each other in congress and symposium frequently. We spent a lot of time in board meetings together while he was suffering from his fatal illness. I longed for his determination, he was lecturing as a real academician until the end. My dea-rest lecturer, I enjoyed from being together, altough it was a short period of time. I am sorry for people who not being given lectured by you and people although around you but missed this opportunity. I would like to send respects to Professor Ali Yemiflçigil who stick to his va-lues and tought me a lot about life.
