his final article in our series on Turkey’s women painters is devoted to Nazli Ecevit and Sabiha Bozcalt. Unlike the artists we presented in our previous articles, all of whom have passed away, these two veterans of Turkish painting are to ay continuing the work they began before the Turkis Republic was proclaimed.Before introducing these two artists, however, we should not neglect to remember Bedia Giileryuz, who pursue her career in Berlin after being educated m Istanbul, and Nazime Osman, a Turkish graduate of the French Academy of Fine arts whose name I came across during my research in Paris. At the same time, we would do well to remember once again the doyenne of Turkey s women painters, Miijdan Arel.
