There are a lot of people who aren't relaxed by soft music. I, like many others, am soothed by music, especially when it's soft. I'm certain that there are a few people who are calmed by soft music. I believe that the type of music which quietens most people down is soft.. 15- More than half of the land under cultivation has been ruined by the recent drought. A) Less than fifty per cent of the area destroyed by the drought recently was cultivated. B) The recent drought devastated land, half of which had been cultivated. It’s largely believed that use of television is outweighed by its harm. It has always been a matter of discussion whether television is useful or harmful. Considering its vast benefit it's impossible to say that television is harmful.. 26- The smell of roses drifted over the garden fence and out into the neighbourhood. A) B) C) D) E). Rose climbed over the fence into the smelly neighbourhood. The neighbours would often go past the fence and into the garden to smell the roses. Even from the area beyond the fence one could smell the garden’s roses. The high fence kept the scent of the roses out of the neighbourhood. The area was filled with the scent of roses coming from various gardens. 27- When snow falls thickly, drivers may have a difficult time seeing clearly. A) B) C) D) E). Driving in a snow storm can lead to car accidents. If you are caught driving in a snowstorm, just pull over. You can best see a lot of snow when driving a car. C) The natural thing to do when someone you love dies is to show everyone how hard you are taking it. D) Expressing the feelings of sadness everyone has when a loved one dies is hard for some people. D) People like to decorate their houses differently because, in this way, they can reveal their individual tastes. Some skills take years of practice to perfect. It is possible the become quite good at some arts after a year’s training. They usually come late because of the traffic. They are likely to be delayed due to the traffic. The traffic may have delayed them.
