The hotel is 130 feet above sea level and is situated in the Salterton Road opposite the Cranford Club.
The best part of the beach may be reached without going through the town.
Garage accommodation and parking facilities are available. There is central heating throughout and all bedrooms have hot and cold water.
The charming garden covering an acre of ground is an ideal setting for this attractive building. There are lawns, rockeries and beautiful flower beds which are a blaze of colour throughout the Spring and Summer seasons.

The extensive sandy beaches and rock pools are a delight to children of all ages. It commands an entrancing view of the splendid coastline of Devonshire with, as its backcloth, the Haldon Hills.

GOLFERS are well catered for with two first
rate Golf Courses within easy distance. The Exeter Country Club and the East Devon Club at Budleigh Salterton. The latter club, within 3 miles of the Hotel, is considered one of the best in the West Country and offers magnificent views in every direction.
TENNIS can be thoroughly enjoyed at the
well run Cranford Club, opposite the Hotel. Facilities there include a Squash Racquets court and Bridge Club.
TROUT fishing is available in the River Otter
and licences may be obtained from the Rolle Estate Offices, Manchester House, Exmouth.
HUNTING AND RIDING enthusiasts may
hire horses from stables near the town and within easy reach of splendid riding country.
The pleasant pastime of BOWLS can be indulged in delightful surroundings and on excellent greens at the Madeira Club.
