Normas Técnicas em Acupuntura
As Normas Técnicas para a Prática da Acupuntura objetivam estabelecer um padrão de atendimento com requisitos de qualidade em nível ambulatorial ou de internação, que possam assegurar:
1. A realização de procedimentos somente após diagnóstico clínico nosológico convencional;
2. A existência de prontuário médico organizado de forma similar aos prontuários convencionais, destacando-se:
a) Diagnóstico clínico nosológico ocidental
b) Diagnóstico segundo a Medicina Tradicional Chinesa c) Prescrição
d) Evolução
3. Exposição mínima do paciente e do acupuntor aos riscos relacionados com a prática inadequada da acupuntura, tais como:
a) Infecção (local e/ou sistêmica); b) Perfuração de vasos;
c) Perfuração de órgãos e vísceras;
d) Lesão de sistema nervoso central e periférico; e) Conseqüências de quebra de agulha;
f) Queimaduras;
g) Laceração de pele devido ao uso de ventosa; h) Lesão decorrente de choque elétrico; i) Lesão de retina por laser;
j) Lipotímia, síncope; k) Resposta vasomotora;
1) Desencadeamento de trabalho de parto; m) Abortamento;
n) Disfunção de marca-passo por eletro-estimulação.
4. Cumprimento das Normas de Prevenção e Controle de Infecção Hospitalar, conforme a Portaria MS 930 de 27 de agosto de 1992, ou outra que a substitua.
5. Assepssia adequada para o procedimento, segundo as normas vigentes:
— Limpeza e desinfecção da pele
— Esterilização do material (ou uso de material descartável) — Limpeza e desinfecção das mãos do profissional
6. Não utilizar eletroacupuntura em pacientes portadores de marca-passo.
7. Observação – Nos procedimentos de sangria dos pontos de acupuntura, o uso de luva é obrigatório.
