III. İL YÖNETİMİ’NİN GELİŞİMİ
1) Pacientes chagásicos com megacólon apresentaram alteração no formato dos gânglios neuronais e redução significativa da área.
2) O processo regenerativo de neurônios aferentes primários e interneurônios é semelhante em indivíduos não chagásicos e chagásicos portadores de mega.
3) As células motoras excitatórias do plexo mientérico de pacientes com megacólon apresentaram redução no processo regenerativo.
4) Neurônios motores inibitórios dos pacientes chagásicos portadores de megacólon apresentaram aumento significativo na taxa de regeneração.
A redução da área imunoreativa em pacientes chagásicos, principalmente de neurônios motores inibitórios, e consequente aumento no processo regenerativo, evidencia a tentativa do organismo em compensar a perda neuronal e ainda demonstra a íntima relação entre a destruição de neurônios inibitórios e a formação do megacólon chagásico. Logo, desenvolver medicamentos que reduzam a destruição desses neurônios e/ou aumentem sua regeneração podem retardar e até evitar a formação megacólon.
